The staff was excellent, very kind and helpful people. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. I suggest trying the restaurant there, very good food and great view. The hotel is close to the port so the location was convenient but having some kind of vehicle is necessary. They do offer some shuttle services though :)

Ferdinando and his Dad were so welcoming and went above and behind with giving us an amazing stay and experience. The views are stunning 😍 and make up for the not so comfortable bed. Also Ferdinando 's cooking was very good as well.

The location is not great, around 25' walking distance from the port (on a steep hill, and a narrow two-way street), it wasn't an issue for us because we rented a scooter (the owner also provides free shuttle service between certain hours), but if you want more freedom of movement, it's something to take into account.

The room is nice and quiet, with all amenities, it has its own restaurant (good rabbit stew)/spacious parking, nice hosts, they were flexible with the check-in hour and kept our luggage after check-out.

The staff at U Campagnuolo were exceptional! They made us feel welcomed and the food we had was number one! Ferdinando and his Dad Michele are great humans, always a smile on their face. Breakfast included homemade pastries and a choice of drinks (juice, tea, or coffee). Ferdinando and his father, Miguele, provided a free shuttle service between the hotel and the port of Ischia. But you still can reach Spiaggia di San Pietro withing 20 min walk. The room was spacious and clean, with daily cleaning ensuring everything remained perfect. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. And the views from the hotel were stunning! You can see pale Vesuvius and Castello Aragonese d'Ischia. The restaurant served delicious home-cooked meals. Ferdinando created dishes that were not merely food but stories told through taste. If for some reason you decide not to stay there, the restaurant worth a separate visit. Everyone have to try the rabbit pasta! We decided to have a dinner every time at the restaurant rather than go to the port. It’s a place where you feel welcomed and cared for, making it an unforgettable part of any trip to Ischia. Very kind staff, daily cleaned clean room, good facilities. The location is perfect, and if you can, choose the rooms with the seaview, as the view is incredible from the hill where the accomodation is located at. They offer a shuttle service (included in the price) between the hotel and the port of Ischia, where all the buses and the ferry goes from. The breakfast offered was also very good.

Everything was absolutely lovely. The location is a 5 min drive with the hotel providing a free shuttle from the port. The views from the hotel are beautiful! The room is a great size and the bathroom has everything you’d need. The hotel has an on-site restaurant, where all meals are home cooked and delicious! The family who run the hotel are all so lovely and welcoming :) I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, and I will definitely try to go back in the future!

A great place to stay on the mountain with a beautiful view, highly recommended. And the owner of this place, Ferdinando, is simply amazing. Very helpful, everything is arranged when you need it, pick-up and drop-off from/to the hotel in the city centre whenever you need it, not to mention the food and the view from the terrace of the restaurant directly over the sea to the other islands and the castle. Everything was perfect, comfortable and wonderful, best of luck to Ferdinado and I wish him to continue to do so wonderfully with the same great service and wonderful real Italian family food. Everyone at the property was extremely welcoming and very helpful. The free shuttle was great, and the host gave us a lot of tips / advice about where to visit on the island and how to get there using the buses. The restaurant is fantastic for dinner and the free breakfast was delicious. Loved every minute of our stay!

The owner and the staff are very friendly. Transportation to Porto was provided everyday, during the day and the night ( to midnight). We enjoyed breakfast that included traditional ischian cornetto and fresh fruits right from the garden. The room is comfy and very clean.

if we have to put one gripe, the beds are slightly hard. but it didn’t obstruct our sleep at all. it also didn’t matter as this place is just a gem.

everything was AMAZING. Ferdinando is beyond human. he cooks the most amazing food for lunch & dinner. it was best food we’ve had on the entire trip! I’ve also never had someone in Europe pay as diligent attention to my allergies as Ferdinando. don’t skip on the rabbit. it was the best rabbit we had on the island & tried other places. since the property is slightly out of town, Ferdinando and his father Miguele shutteled us in and out of the city center as needed. this service was fantastic and necessary since it’s a 17 - 20 min walk completely uphill otherwise. Ferdinando was constantly available, and answered all of our questions within minutes. even the servers we had at breakfast lunch and dinner (specifically Julio) were wonderful & made you feel right at home. the views from the hotel are magnificent!!! you can see the castle and whole city from U campagnuolo. we left today giving heartfelt hugs to Ferdinando, Miguele and Julio upon leaving & wished we stayed there longer.

It's my third stay in Ischia -- in my opinion, this is the best place among the different small hotels that I've so far stayed in Ischia. While, as clearly mentioned in the description, the pension is located on a steep hill, the location also has several advantages: it's very quiet and green around and there is a fantastic view over the Gulf of Naples and onto the Castello Aragonese. The owner is very kind and is ready to give you a lift to/from the town whenever you like (except for the short siesta time in the early afternoon). Italian breakfast is great as always and the room is quite big and has a nice terrace.

Ferdinando and his family are really lovely. He took care of us and allowed us to have a real lovely moment! the location is 15 minutes walking from the bus station, in the country side with an unique view but if you are not a walker lover Ferdinando will give you a ride! Regarding the food, everything is coming from his own farm, wine rabbit, lemon, etc and the food is excellent! we will come back for sure!!
