Maybe sleeping arrangements could be better, though the house is really big, it fits maximum 5 people and 2 of them on bunk bed which is quite unpleasant - the top one obviously for smaller kid only, but the bottom one has unlogical shelf in sleeping space which makes it not very good place to sleep.

We felt very well in the house, it is spacious and gives some good vibe.

We just wished there were some basic (non perishables) to cook with such as salt, pepper and oil as it is hard to buy these to cook just once.

Great place to stay, lovely little flat with great facilities and lovely staff who helped us when we needed. Comfy and clean.

Stores,restaurants,bakery not within walking distance. Had to backtrack to continue our Italy trip. Hard to spot entrance at night.

Very large apartment with an excellent kitchen. Very quiet. Kids stayed in large family room for a long time.

Friendly host, cozy apartment, well equipped, we had everything at our disposal. Quite close by car to Pisa, Florence and Genoa, we had a fantastic road through mountains to Genoa, road is longer with around 1H than highway route but worth every minute.

What a lovely and very confortable place to stay (end of november 2023)! It has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom with bath is very nice, free parking space next to the house, shops and a big supermarket in walking distance. And nearby hiking options, like Pania della Croce (thank you for this advice Alessandro!). Lucca is also a beautiful city and only 45 min drive away.

everything was as expected, so nothing bad to say.

Super nice old school family house for stay one night or more. The price is great, the location is a little bit far from the center of the town, but not too far, less if you have a car. The place was really calm in a neighbourhood of families and close to the main road, but no noises from traffic, really close to a big supermarket and few other stores. It was a great place to stop by in our trip back home. If I am in the area I will stop by again over there. The owner was super kind and he was waiting for us in the flat when we arrived, we had a room for each and the heater was on what we really appreciated.

Tuscany break is a modern ground floor flat in a block of four on a quiet residential street just off the main road. Parking is available just a few feet from the front door and there is a sitting area on the small front patio. The flat itself is spacious and furnished with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Go along the road and turn up a side street to get to the centre the village of Gallicano. It was quiet on a wet evening after 9pm apart from a lively burger bar across the main road with nice staff and good burgers & beer. However next day it was a thriving village and the bakery-cake shop cafe was full at mid morning despite the weather - great choice of snacks, savoury and sweet.

great apartment with plenty of space,great location for visiting the sights this area has to offer

It was not really suitable for two married couples and one child. It had 3 bedrooms BUT one double bed. 1 single bed and 2 bunk beds. Which made things difficult. Also parking was tricky as very tight and little space for manoeuvre. I'm obviously a seasoned driver but even with our large SUV it was not easy. Alessandro the owner was nice and friendly. He told me it was his late grandfather property and it was a little dated. But everything worked free wifi which was strong. enough crockery and pots and pans fridge freezer cooker microwave coffee machine kettle washing machine etc etc. It's needs some modern updating. Would we stay again? As not really suitable for 2 couples due to beds situation I think not. But thank Alessandro for his understanding in some last minute changes required.

We liked the position very suitable for ease of travel as online strategic road to all the areas we wanted to be.
