The stairs to the breakfast area might be difficult for some.

Spotlessly clean and beautifully refurbished. The rooms were very comfortable and a good size with great en-suite facilities. There’s a wonderful little outdoor pool for residents use which was welcomed as it was very hot. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. Maria was a great host who was very attentive to our needs. We will return.

The parking area was very difficult to come out of because it is in an area where cars are zipping by around a curved road… but they had about 6 parking spaces available by the property. It is an amazing property but you must be able to walk up and down stairs…lots of them. Also there isn’t anyone in the property …you must call or email Maria…who DOES answer right away…but one MUST arrange a time for her to let you in the property when you arrive…we couldn’t reply to her email, so we had to call her snd wait for her to drive by and let us in.

Maria was wonderful. Any problems, you can email her & everything is corrected. Amazing property, room was wonderful -spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good & included in price of room. There are designated parking spaces out on the streets. The staff (2-3) were nice ladies.

Maria the host is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The recent renovation of the property is a true architectural marvel. The history Maria shared was fascinating. Rooms are very large, comfortable and appointed with everything you need. Location is a short walk to the main center of town. The outdoor area was wonderful - it was hot for October and we were pleased to find the pool was lounge chairs still open. Breakfast was a delicious and wonderful experience! There was a wonderful display and great variety of food.

Maria went out of her way for us she drove us around to find to buy an adapter for our electrical plug so we could charge our phones the next day she went and brought plastic,cups,plates,knives and forks for our little function around the pool she couldn’t do enough for us such a lovely person thank you so much we really appreciate meeting such a wonderful person thank you making our stay very memorable.

I loved the stairs down to breakfast. The view was incredible, but would be good to be aware of if you’re older or less mobile.

The property was stunning and so unique. The rooms were incredibly clean. The owner was so helpful and kind. I’d recommend this to anyone.

Wow wow wow! What a place and lovely owners! Where to start? A gorgeous old converted olive oil mill with so many authentic touches but with essential modern necessities. The decor is all from local places and it’s beautiful with amazing views. The rooms are so comfortable and modern. Great WiFi - I worked from there & had many zoom calls. The breakfast had freshly made ricotta and other amazing local cuisines and it’s served in the old mill which is quite beautiful! They were kind enough to make me lunch when the restaurants were closed. You’re close to lots of attractions too. I would’ve stayed longer if I’d had the time.

Massafra is very well located to explore a great deal of the surrounding regions - from Matera to Alberobello, to the coast north and south of Bari. Tufo Bianco is a very charming structure, brought to new life with a lot of taste. Breakfast was particularly delicious and pleasant in the stone caves. Lovely, personable hosts.

The internet didn't work in our room and I thought the cab she got us was a little pricey. But other than that everything was perfect.

My favorite part about this place was the breakfast. She served a full Puglia style breakfast that had everything you wanted - the fruits were very diverse. She even made you coffee. I would recommend traveling here with a car.

Everything was 100% perfect !

Maria is an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble. She was most welcoming to her beautiful hotel and did everything possible to ensure we had the best stay. She even offered us a late breakfast on our last morning - not something you normally get ! The room was very clean and had nice tea/coffee making facilities. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return ourselves.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer! The rooms are large and clean, complete with amenities, coffee machine and kettle. The pool is beautiful to relax in during the warm afternoons. They were very accomodating with breakfast providing plenty of options sweet, savour and even gluten free options for me. Location is perfect just on the edge of town a short walk into Centro storico and also the town. Parking very easy as well

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Recently opened and the attention to detail that went into the whole hotel and rooms is amazing. The hotel itself has a several terraces with seating, one has a small pool and sun loungers. At the bottom level is a function room with the remnants of an old olive press, the owner was kind enough to go through the history of the building and show how all the parts were integrated into the new hotel. The rooms were very nicely decorated, came equipped with everything you'd need. The shower was great, bed was very large and comfortable. The room smelled great too, might be a little over powering if you're sensitive to fragrances. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, a huge spread of fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, meats, and a lovely homemade orange marmalade. The owner was kind enough to source lactose free versions of the offerings too. I doubt there's a nicer hotel in Massafra.

Not something we didn't like but which can be an issue for some: there are a lot of stairs to climb in the B&B. Another attention point is that the B&B is next to a busy road. We didn't experience this as a problem though because you hardly hear anything in your room.

The B&B is brand new and has been renovated in a fantastic way using modern design and lighting without destroying the identity of the building. Great eye for details. You will certainly be surprised when you get your exquisite breakfast in the original cave under the B&B which used to be a olive oil mill centuries ago. We were welcomed by host Maria in a beautiful cool and wonderfully smelling room renovated with fine materials. The rooms are cleaned every day and you get fresh bottles of water.
