It was in the perfect location, 5 minutes from train station Santa Maria and 5-10 minutes to every attraction. Fernanda was fantastic and made us feel like family.

The flat was very cosy and homely, and in a great location. We had the ensuite room, and it included a hairdryer with diffuser which is great for curly haired folks! The tea and snacks in the kitchen were appreciated and the balcony was great for evenings. The bakery around the corner for breakfast was amazing and having Cascine park to get away from the crowds. Fernanda was a great host and really helpful. When we arrived she went over a map and gave us tips on where to go based on what we were interested in, and during the trip messaged us with other recommendations. A terrace cafe with views was a highlight. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect location, an easy walk from everything you want to see in the incredibly walkable historic city. Our bed was comfortable and our window gave us plenty of natural light — but with an excellent motorized shade for sleeping in. The bathroom was everything we needed. Despite staying over on a Friday night in a lively city, it was quiet inside and we slept very well. Fernanda was a welcoming and organized hostess, making checking in easy and leaving our bags convenient. Her suggestions for getting out into town and seeing the sights were very helpful. She is knowledgeable about the city and its history and culture, and I appreciated her advice tremendously. Great value for what we paid! When I return to Florence, this will be where I stay again.

This wasn’t a big issue, however it wasn’t greatly advertised that the apartment is shared with another room and a communal kitchen area. There are locks on the bedroom doors which solves this issue but it’s one to be aware of if you are a person who wants the privacy of your own space.

The property is in a great location. Easy to access all the main areas of Florence from here. Beautifully decorated and good facilities. Air conditioning was great and Fernanda was a fantastic host.

Its a room inside a house with a private bathroom and a shared kitchen. It was a friendly environment but still i would rather more privacy with a fridge in the room.

It was very close to the train staiton. Owner of the house Fernanda was very kind and wonderful person. Gave us all the necessary directions to enjoy the city.

A few times there was a sewer smell in the hallway upon entering the apartment.

Location was convenient to the train station which we wanted. Fernanda was a kind and informative host. She provided us with a helpful map, coupons, and recommendations. She was always available if we needed any questions answered.

We felt very welcome due to the attentive nature of Fernanda, the owner. She gave helpful advice and when we had issues with our car rental, she was very supportive as well. The accommodation is in walking distance from the various sights of Florence. Definitely recommend.

Our host Fernanda was very accommodating and welcoming. She made sure we were ok when we arrived, gave us many suggestions on food, tours, and sights around the city. It was really welcoming to have. We had sweets and snacks offered to us in our room and in the common fridge, everything is very organized. On our last day Fernanda was so sweet and accommodating to keep our luggage's after the check out, since our flight was late she arrange to have them kept for us until we needed to pick them up in the evening. I cannot express how grateful we are for her and for her hospitality.

Signora Fernanda is fabulous! She obviously loves her city and is very prepared with all the best and most pertinent information for visitors to Florence. Signora Fernanda went above and beyond, to locate something I important I needed but couldn’t find myself. The room is comfortable and has everything of home, truly. A steady stream of hot water showers for consecutive people…a bonus.

Fernanda could not be a nicer or more welcome host. Follow her advice and you will not go far wrong on a lovely trip to an absolutely beautiful city. We were only there for two nights but would happily return to both Florence and this apartment. This is actually the host's home but she stays elsewhere during your stay. Fernanda gave us a lovely overview of Florence as she greeted us and showed us around the apartment. We stayed in the larger room which was comfortable and homely. The aircon was a welcome addition in the very warm summer. Although we didn't use it much the kitchen and small balcony would be great for a longer trip. The location is excellent, so easy to get around Florence, be it by bus or walking (the best way to see the city in our opinion!). Plenty in the vicinity as well be it restaurants, shops, bakeries and a gelateria.

No washing facilities, however this is a minor issue as there is 2 laundromats just down the road.

Was very secure and central to all things we wanted to do. Nothing is out of walking distance and it was very clean and comfortable.

Very nice apartment and clean.It's very close to the train station, less than 5 minutes, and very close to the city center.Fernanda is great, it's so kind and helpfull.Every thing is perfect.You have a restaurant nearby, where is great food, and there is also a good bakery and La Carraia gelatto is also very close.There is a Carffour Expres shop near by and also local shops.If we are returning to Florence we are definitly returning here.
