The only thing which could be improved was the way that the shower water seemingly saturated the floor. No matter where I angled the shower head, lowered the pressure, or placed down towels, the floor still got pretty soaked. In saying this, this wasn’t a major issue as it was contained mainly to the shower platform, and it was no biggie to mop it up with one of the towels when needed.

Absolutely adored our stay at Trastevere Dream House. Our room was beautifully decorated and included so many thoughtful touches, including a sewing kit and some lollies. The bed was super comfy too! Our favourite little touch was the guide book that our host wrote and illustrated herself- which we learnt after bumping into her one morning had only JUST been printed and popped into the room. It had everything from how to order coffees, to must-try foods and places when in Rome, and lots of local tips and tricks for the Trastevere area and surrounds. It was such a lovely and thoughtful little touch which made our stay extra special 😊

Noisy AC waking us at night, and issues for regulating the water temperature of the shower, especially at night.

The ceiling light switch in the room with the sofa bed didn’t switch off when pressed. Therefore we had to take the card out to turn the electricity off which meant we couldn’t charge our phones overnight.

Perfectly located, this apartment was comfortable and well-equipped. The shower was excellent, and the mini kitchen — complete with a great coffee machine — made everything super convenient. The apartment guidebook and local map was an excellent touch.

One night of our stay there was a lot of noise in the neighborhood late into the evening and early morning.

Decorated with lots of personal touches. Great neighborhood, easy host to communicate with. Awesome restaurants near by. We are walkers and were able to walk to all the special sites in Rome.

Fabulous location. Local area out of the tourist section of Rome but historic sites still within 30min walking distance. Able to leave luggage safely stored in hallway after checkout. Host was very good at communicating and organised private airport shuttle which was well worth it given our flight was delayed.
