There was a scam running between the hotel and local taxi to charge people 35 euros for 5km between the train station and the hotel and no other means of transfer.

great pool is the selling point, also great food but not cheap to eat in.

Torre Assunta Hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a nice pool and dining area. The reception staff were very helpful, providing useful information about beaches and lidos, and assisting with reservations. Dinner is fine dining, and the gym is available in an open area. Breakfast was very good, though a bit repetitive over the following days. The location isn’t very convenient, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

We had planned to check out and then enjoy the common areas for another hour or two, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to use them. It was a valuable lesson for us — even though we had received a verbal confirmation over the phone, we didn’t have anything in writing. Since then, we always make sure to confirm by email whenever we plan to stay a bit longer. In almost every case, this works perfectly — but unfortunately, not this time, which is why we gave a score of 8. For a 5-star hotel, certain details are a must, and here we felt they were missing. The bottles of water in the room were extremely small, and we even noticed guests going out to buy larger ones. Offering bigger bottles would be a small change with a big impact on guest comfort. Also, no welcome drink was offered — something we would naturally expect at this level, as it sets the tone for a warm and memorable stay.

Its a very new hotel and the modern design is quite minimalist with the result that it lacks atmosphere. The bar is very nicely done but never had any guests in it.

A very new hotel, beautifully laid out with rooms all around the very large centre piece pool. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a great choice with a la carte cooked food available at an extra cost. The hotel is a short car ride from the centre of Gallipoli

No iron available Laundry service only which was too expensive to iron a dress or t shirt Should have an iron available on request as we are all living out of bags Bar service closed at 10.30pm so driving from Gallipoli after meal we just managed to have a lovely glass of wine by pool one evening This did mean it is a beautifully quiet location.

being a new facility it can provide many challenges related to services that can be offered, mainly in the restaurant area. Nevertheless, im happy with all the experience and the service we obtained by the staff. very polite and accurate.

being a new facility it provided comfort, relaxing sight, facilities in the object. great panoramic view. it has e big. very clean outside pool. starting from the entrance of the facility you feel you are special, and you feel yourself in "the bela italia". wide areas of nature, olive trees, palms, well structured and with a perfect romantic view.

The loungers around the pool got occupied rather quickly, which could be a problem for some. Need to provide drinking water in the gym area. Not a lot of equipment in the gym.

New, large, comfortable room with access to patio/garden. Spacious bathroom with Roberto Cavalli bath products. Excellent bed, firm with lots of support. Excellent buffet-style breakfast. One can order scrambled eggs or fried eggs, which is included. Service was great. Excellent air conditioning in the rooms and common areas. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful pool area. Very relaxing. Resort vibe. Many families with small children. Location is close to the Baia Verde. Also close to Gallipoli. But definitely will require a car. Lots of private parking at the hotel. Felt very safe. Easy access. Appreciated the well thought out design of the rooms and the common areas. Contemporary design.

Totally disorganised from the management leaders down. There were some really nice staff there but the demand was too much on too few. Understaffed in all areas so don't expect 5 star treatment.

It is a nice new hotel.
