The square where the hotel is located is quiet and not overcrowded, which is very comfortable, especially in the evening. No need to search for an entrance down narrow, deserted streets—coming back to the hotel is super easy. • Style & Atmosphere: The hotel has a traditional Venetian style, which gives it a unique charm. While it’s not brand new, everything is clean and well-maintained. In our room, we had new modern windows and an updated bathroom, which made the stay more comfortable. • Staff: The reception staff was excellent! Friendly and professional, they really made you feel like a valued guest. The service here is top-notch. • Facilities: The room matches the photos and is clean and tidy. There’s also a lift in the building, which is very convenient, especially with luggage.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Hotel Scandinavia. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, making our stay very relaxing. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Lovely Hotel in a fantastic location.( Close walking distance to the centre, yet away from the crowd) Very nice breakfast and the staff in the reception were very helpfull. There are tables on the front of the hotel which you can use to enjoy your own bottle of wine bought in the shop nearby :-)

We couldn t have asked for a better location-just a few minutes walk from both the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark s Square. Our room offered an unforgettable view of the charming Santa Maria Formosa square and church, which truly added to the magic of our stay. The staff were exceptional-warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. A special thank you to Elena, who was so helpful and kind, and also provided us with Biennale Architecture maps, knowing that the Biennale was the main reason for our trip to Venice with my daughter. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would love to return!

Overall, our experience was great. We did encounter a few minor issues — for instance, someone was smoking in the building, and when we opened the window to air out the room, we discovered a piece of underwear left in the shutters. However, the staff responded quickly and professionally to our concerns, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful, and the view along with the peaceful atmosphere of the piazza where the property is located was definitely a highlight of our stay.

It was close to all the attractions your needing to see and not to mention restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Even getting onto a gondola ride as well. The hotel itself was fabulous, and the staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely not hesitate to stay here again if we return. Thank-you!

Location is perfect. 10 min walk from San Marco water bus stop so super easy to get to from the airport. Location is also really close to a lot of the main attractions of Venice. Staff were really helpful. Room was clean and comfy a d had lots of character. Loads of options at breakfast. Would happily stay here again.

Very good location! Out of the way of the tourist area but close enough to walk to the popular sights! There are lovely restaurants and bars nearby, staff were helpful, the place was really clean and the rooms had amazing Aircon! The shower was great, really powerful! The room has a safe and mini fridge which were an added bonus. A really nice stay overall, would definitely stay there again!
