Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SwitzerlandThe bed was quite hard. I usually like a hard mattress but even for me this was tough. I don't really understand why dogs aren't allowed on the private beach. In my view, kids are much louder and disruptive than dogs. The water bottles in the room cost 1.20Euro each - there was no sign to say they needed to be paid for. Not a big thing but somehow unnecessary for this price category. Parking could be a challenge during high season as there are not many spots for the number of beaches around.
We booked fairly last minute and were happy to secure two rooms with sea view and terraces. They are gorgeous although not cheap (and maybe even more expensive during high season). The rooms were spacious and the view absolutely perfect. The sun was pretty intense on the terrace - I wonder if they ever provide sun shade of some kind. The breakfast was included and was a big buffet with really good coffee so worth it. They are very dog friendly, which I always appreciate. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, other beaches, hikes, shops, etc. I would come again.

Switzerland- no shelves in the bathroom or in the shower - no maps or local plans in the hotel - car park quite expensive (Euro 12 per day)
+ great breakfast buffet + excellent location by the sea and close to the town centre + very clean hotel and rooms I would not rate this hotel with 4 stars, more like 3 or 3 plus. It is certainly very clean and beautiful, the location is really excellent, but you have to pay for every extra service, for example for towels on the beach, car park etc. But all in all, we really enjoyed our holiday at the Hotel Tirenno

Amazing location close to the city centre with restaurants and beautiful beach side, very convenient with a baby. Excellent breakfast.

China1. When booking, had an option to choose 2 queen beds or 1 queen bed / 1 sofa bed, (we have chosen 2 queen beds since we were 4 adults) but no more than 5 minutes after booking confirmation I’ve received a message that only 1 bed/ 1 sofa was available (!!!) 2. Only 2 seats and 1 umbrella available for 4 adult guests were provided by the hotel (note: beach club wasn’t fully booked when we stayed) but it’s hotel policy. We respected it but could have been better.
Really nice environment, excellent service provided by the staff/reception, close to the train station, hotel is literally in front of the beach (clean, organized, bar/restaurant services also available), amazing breakfast, with a pair of seats and one umbrella included for each room. Definitely worth staying since Spotorno city center is 5~10 min walk and all restaurants and ice cream shops are nearby.
