United KingdomDO NOT arrive before the check in time of 4pm as the hotel is locked up and no staff on hand. When we arrived at reception on checking in a menu was thrust in front of us with a very limited choice for the evening 3 course meal at a cost of €35 per person. 2 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. We only wanted a main meal but no option to pay less for that. We obliged begrudgingly as the nearest restaurant is around 30 minutes away in Brixen. Tables have your room number on so you have to sit there for the duration of your visit. Some of the best tables by the windows were empty because guests were obviously dining elsewhere. The following night we ate in an amazing restaurant in Brixen on a lake…Brix 0.1. Highly recommend this!
The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views towards the Odles. Very quiet as it is a long 25 minute uphill drive from the town of Brixen. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice outside balcony to enjoy the mountain views. The spa facilities were lovely and gardens perfect for relaxation.

United KingdomThere was nothing that we didn't like, maybe the only drawback is that you're more or less obliged to have dinner at the hotel every night as it's far away from other places. This was fine for us as we were only staying for 3 nights and the food was very good. There was a nice bar in which to relax afterwards.
Breakfast buffet was very nice and so was the evening meal. We had a room with a spacious balcony overlooking the Dolomites. The view - the hotel is not called The Vista for nothing - was spectacular. There was also a very nice spa, with swimming pool, sauna and loungers in the well maintained garden, overlooking the mountains. The spa area wasn't that big but when (Oct) we were there, there were not many people around and we had the pool to ourselves for a while. The view from the sauna was fantastic. There is a regular bus service from the hotel and the bus stop was in front of the hotel. This was very handy and we never used our car during our stay. We were given a tourist card and with this card we could take the bus to Bressanone (Brixen) and other places for free. Bressanone is a beautiful town and well worth a visit. It took about 30-40 mins on the bus to get there and it was a lovely ride. The ski lift, a few mins walk away from the hotel, was also free with this card and the lift took you to the top of the mountain from where there were numerous beautiful walks. If you like nature, peace and quiet (in summer), then this is the hotel for you. If you like to be close to a town with some night life, then this is not the hotel for you. In winter it seems the ideal location for a skiing holiday.

GermanyA bit far from everything on top of a mountain. at least 30min drive to any of the popular sights (e.g. St. Maddalena, Geisler Alm etc). Value for money could be better as well in that regard.
We had a nice room with great view. The wellness area is nice with a large pool, whirlpool and Panorama Sauna. There is even a fitness studio. Breakfast was good.

Our stay here was wonderful, the view you get is out of a postcard, and you get to enjoy it every morning while having a delicious breakfast or anytime if you book a room with a mountain view. It really is the perfect place to enjoy the mountains during the day and relax in the afternoon at the pool, sauna, or jacuzzi. Honestly, this is closer to a 4-star hotel than 3, I think only room service is missing but who needs that? The staff is very friendly and ready to help with anything they can. The Hotel is a great starting point to explore this part of the Dolomites, like Santa Maddalena or Lake Braies. I totally recommend this place.
