This wonderful boutique hotel offers everything you need. The staff were very helpful. The property’s security is excellent. The location is great as it is a short 5 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel and is closer to both bus and metro.

The room and bathroom were like a Luxury five-star hotel, beautifully designed.very comfortable, and elegant. The bathroom was both convenient and stylish, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The view from our private balcony was perfect. We were delighted with the complimentary drinks and wine in our fridge. Overall, the quality of the room and bathroom exceeded expectations, it truly felt like a luxury five-star hotel.

Every morning, the were a loud hammering noice, comming from one of the apartments eather above or beyond ours which made it pretty hard to have a slow start to the day.

Sarah at the reception made sure to ask us i everything was to our expections and if we needed anything at all to make our stay even more enjoyable. Also we were sent loads of recomendations, for places to eat, visit or just walk by, so if we were ever in doubt about what to do next, we could just read through her list and pick something to do. All in all 5 stars for sarah for top notch service.

After staying in different parts of Rome, I think the Vatican area is the best place to stay. It’s peaceful, quiet and charming , and also The Romex is very near a metro station. Since Rome has just two metro lines, being close to one makes it much easier to get around and visit the sites. From there we could reach anywhere in Rome easily, and we really loved the location.

Our stay at The Romex was beyond expectation!A luxurious and absolutely cosy and comfortable room situated in the best part of Rome.One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed and very close to the metro station making visits to the most interesting spots rally easy.I would like to thank Amir who from the very first moment made us feel more than welcome and was at our disposal whenever we needed him.He is a really exceptional host!If you visit Rome don't hesitate to stay at The Romex!

Now I understand why all the reviews are 10 out of 10. Amir treated us like family. After staying at several 4 and 5-star hotels in Italy, we can honestly say we received the best service and experience at this charming boutique style residence compared to anywhere else. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully well designed, spotless, and extremely clean.

Staff were very friendly and informative about the local area. We had a stocked complimentary drinks fridge which was very appreciated given the Italian heat! We were also celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they left us treats, balloons and wine to make it special for us. It was a truly lovely stay and we'd love to book again when we return for a longer visit.

Location was great, near Vatican Museum entrance. Parking was available. The staff went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and happy. They even helped me with getting tickets to the Vatican as they were not available on the website anymore. My husband was happy with satellite channels on his tv.

Before the trip, we chose apartments with a good location, rating and price. We chose these apartments and are very happy with our choice. The room has everything, bed linen, towels, shower gel, shampoos, soap and more. Every day they bring 2 bottles of water in glass, there is a coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer, iron. Also as a compliment, a mini bar with drinks, beer and wine. Everything you need is there. Very comfortable rooms, everything is new, excellent modern renovation, blinds, several lighting scenarios. Super cozy bed and pillows. I want to express special gratitude to the staff, very polite and helpful, kind, trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They will always provide you any information about transport, cafes and shops. We enjoyed our trip in Rome and our staying in this great apartment a lot. With professional team who provided cozy service. Place much better than we expected. Feels like home. Excellent view from the balcony to the Vatican wall. 10-12 minutes walk. We will definitely recommend to friends and next time we will stay only here. Highly recommended !

Everything was perfect. The room is very comfortable. We reached the location after 10:00 PM but check in was very quick. Water and juices were in the room for free. Cleaning every day. I won't hesitate to be back again !

It's a small hotel but super cosy hotel it a good location close to Vatican. The room was large, good equipped with comfortable bed. The metro station is about 10 min walk, so it was easy to get everywhere. There are also nice cafes and shops nearby. Special greeting to the hosts, since they did our stay exceptional thanks to the care and very cute gifts.

If travel by bus from airport, you will have to change to local bus and walk downstairs from hill to reach the hotel.

Only one thing I didn’t find was blacked-out curtains. For someone who’s jet-lagged and a pretty light sleeper this could have easily been a problem but I only stayed 1 night and didn’t experience this problem

This property was great all round. Straight 10/10 for me I stayed here 1 night and it was amazing. I’ll say the host on this property understands hospitality. Everything was pretty modern and neat. Towels and wash clothes were provided. Checkin and checkout was seamless. Location was perfect for commute by foot or with metro.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Rome before, but this one was truly different .The room and bathroom felt like a 5 star hotel, stylish and comfortable. They offered complimentary drinks from the minibar, a beautiful plate of fresh fruits, glass bottles of still and sparkling water, delicious wine and a selection of teas and coffees all for free. The staff went above and beyond: they stored our luggage, helped us purchase tickets and book tours, and made everything incredibly smooth and easy. The hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Rome, right near the Vatican, peaceful and charming. Highly recommended. We would definitely come back!

The Romex is a thoughtfully renovated space, away from the crowds of tourists. It was a lovely place to come back to after sightseeing; an enormous room, an oversized shower, with every detail taken care of. I can’t recommend it enough.
