How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I couldn't really sleep well where there unfortunately. The AC unit needs to be replaced because it made strange random mechanical noises at night. The staff was very helpful to troubleshoot it but unfortunately the problem came back at night. As the sound was random, it was hard to get used to the sound even wearing earplugs. I would have rated the place a 10 if it wasn't for this problem. - Nitpick: I recommend covering up the very bright green light above the sofa bed up with some small piece of electrical tape because it lights up the room at night a lot. - Nitpick: it was a bit confusing to receive WhatsApp welcome messages from two different numbers. I think one was from the staff and one was from the owner. Which was very welcoming and appreciated but still confusing as I didn't know who to first reach out to.
Unique room! Very clean and super comfy beds and pillows! Exceptional staff.

The location is just perfect, to get this local feeling of Rome… all piazzas and main attractions are on walking distance. The apartment is just beautiful situated in old romantic building and stylishly decorated. The hosts are very kind, caring, helpful and always at your disposal.

Great location! Very helpful host! Clean. I loved the fact that there was coffee in the room, iron, shampoo&hair conditioner. Small things that counts :)

Pillows and seperate matresses but if you ask the owner she will fix the best way possible all.
The owner very kind and helpfull. Imidiatelly helped to do our visit more comfortable and fix few things in the room for us. Very central Recomented and will surely come back again.

I wish I could give a 20 out of 10. The rooms look exactly like the pictures and the location is perfect! It took us about 6mins to get to the Spanish steps and about 13mins to Trevi fountain by foot. I can’t say enough about Cristel and Lesly! They were so accommodating, kind and helpful. We have been traveling along Europe and by far one of the best stays I’ve had so far in Europe. The location, safety, hospitality, rooms, everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

It was a fantastic location, room was extremely spacious to house 2 teenage boys and myself. Cris was so obliging and courteous offering every assistance. Highly recommended if you are independent travellers.

The manager, Cristel was so sweet and helpful! She answered all the questions we had and even recommended a lot of nice places to eat nearby. The hotel looks a bit old from the outside but the room is very nice from the inside.

Same as the pictures, beautiful and clean. Perfect for family of 4, stays there for 3 nights. And the location was the best to move around the touristic parts of room. Best host, with great recommendations.

The location is great next to Spanish steps and very close to all the sight seeings. Near to many restaurants and main streets. The owner is very friendly and very willing to help with everything. Very clean apartment, brand new just renovated.

everything was perfect!
Literally right in the center, everything accessible on foot, 5-10 to Spagna or Piazza del Popolo. Restaurants and shops right next door. Beautiful new apartment with everything you need. Nice and clean, good in size Cris our host was amazing, responsive, helping with early check in, late checkout, gift for my birthday, recommending places. 10/10 experience, collected such great memories on this trip

Excellent location and gorgeous space. Loved the green timing, so chic! Everything was clean and exactly as pictured. Great value and the hosts were excellent - quick to respond and help with recommendations from restaurants to tours to activities. Cristel knows Rome well and was an amazing resource!
