CanadaFact that the directions to the place were terrible and wasted over an hr of our time driving in circles. No parking was also a major issue, my filter selection included parking as a requirement and this place came up which prompted me to book it.
After driving around for approximately an hr in a circle, we were unable to find this place. Directions provided by owner had us going in circles and after numerous attempts to find this place late at night we gave up and booked a room at a major chain that had available rooms. We would like to be reimbursed as we could not locate the place and there was no parking available even if we did find it.

FranceThe address provided on Booking for the property is 27 Lungomare IV Novembre 27, 98035, Giardini Naxos—a picturesque street overlooking the sea. In reality, the actual location was 176 Via Umberto, a street that leads to an abandoned garage and is heavily trafficked. This change of address was never communicated by the host. It wasn't until we got to the room and put the wrong code on the door (for the address given in the booking) that the hotel gave a different address for the room. This discrepancy appears to be intentional, as both the setting and room were wholly inconsistent with those described in the listing, based on the reviews consulted and the original address provided on Booking. Moreover, the room was advertised to have a sea view, as per the description. Instead, it overlooked the busy street with passing cars. Due to the room’s location on this busy street, the noise level was intolerable, preventing us from sleeping—even while using earplugs. This is particularly infuriating considering the listing specifically stated that the room was soundproofed, a claim which is blatantly untrue. The room was completely mismatched and of very poor quality, making it impossible for us to get a good night’s sleep.
