Foreword : I travel extensively for work, I've been in all sorts of hotels/pensions/guesthouse abroad, I have a decent idea of what to expect for the price I pay. The room we got was exposed south west, and with temperatures raising up to 37°C and no a/c, the heat in the room was unbearable. We booked for 2 nights but after the first night we decided to move to another place with a/c. The owner seemed annoyed when we expressed our surprise to be in a place without A/C in the center of Italy in the middle of August. The room was clean-ish, our cat took care to remove the spider webs from under the bed and the corners. Only one dispenser of soap for both washbasin and shower. Shower head in bad conditions and never descaled. Design but unpractical water mixer taps (the one on the shower leaked) as well as the rustic tile flooring (coarse grout is not exactly easy to maintain clean) No facilities like a kettle or a coffee machine or at least instant coffee. No mini fridge either of course. There was a huge wardrobe, but 2/3 were occupied with the owner's clothes, the 3rd part with change of bedsheets/pillows/blankets. Breakfast, following the Italian laws, can't be home made. Still, fresh pastries can be bought from a professional, but it's way easier to offer cheap industrial stuff - and only sweet options. Some reviews mention a nice breakfast. I wonder where these people who commented live. There are cats on the property but since "they come and go" the owner barely takes care of them, and they keep reproducing. There was an emaciated kitten with a bad eyes and nose infection that will probably die of starvation within 2 days. But the owner seemed not interested in taking care of it. Overall, if you're not wel traveled and have low standards, the place should suit you.

    I didn't like anything
