It was very beautiful and clean, the place is magical. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly. There is free private parking. If you are looking for something calm and nearby most popular beaches and places its the perfect place. WE will came back.

The place was close to everything and amenities were perfect - from the refrigerator to personal patio - breakfast - and the family was beyond helpful - friendly… one can tell the family wants you to enjoy 😊 the stay. 15 minutes from Otranto - 10 minutes to Santa Andrea etc … … and quiet at night - Perfetto !!

Lorena & Francesco are wonderful hosts. They have created an oasis of calm in the countryside close to the coast and Otranto. My room with little garden was very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with delicious homemade pastries and good choice of savoury and sweet. I recommend hiring a bike for the day and exploring the coast and pineta. There are excellent restaurants nearby and in Otranto which is a beautiful coastal town. There are wonderful coves, caves and beaches to explore and swim from, in crystal clear water. I highly recommend the Salento area of Puglia and Tenuta Sofia is the ideal base to explore from. ThankYou for a wonderful few days!

We loved everything about the property. The staff, the food, the bedroom, the garden. Everything was wonderful. Lorena is such a nice person, super helpful and welcoming. She sent us a list of all the beautiful places to visit and gave us advices on what to see considering the weather each day. 100% recommend and will come back someday for sure!

We booked a last-minute stay here after a disappointing experience at another hotel, and we’re so glad we did! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful surroundings that made for a relaxing and quiet night. Our room was clean and cosy, with a very comfortable bed, and we appreciated the added convenience of a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with love.

The place is located in a beautiful landscape, very quiet and surrounded by Puglia typical nature. Rooms are cozy and with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade typical pastries and jams. The owners are very kind and helpful, their hospitality was exceptional and it was a pleasure to talk with them.

Everything was perfect. The place is very beautiful, very kind and peaceful. Perfect to rest and to visit several places like Otranto and some beaches. Lorena is exceptional and very sweet. She makes you feel like home. We will return to Tenuta Sofia

Two small notes, one being that the room had a very strong perfume to it, we believe it was for the curtain to the outside that was sprayed to keep out bugs. My partner and I are very sensitive to scent so it took some getting used to. I was also sad to see that the restaurant was not open during our stay, I had not seen that it was closed before arriving. However, these things are very small and did not impact our stay all that much!

The breakfast was really delicious, the location was stunning, the farm was very beautiful and the weather was great throughout our stay. The hosts made us feel very welcome and had great recommendations. The room was quite big, and the outside private patio was a really nice touch. It was very relaxing to stay here, we had a wonderful time! This is a great place to stay to explore the beaches and cities near by, we were able to visit Lecce and Otrante, as well as many beaches and Cava di Bauxite.

I would advise guests in advance that the restaurant is closed at certain times; as for us, it was one of the decision factors, and we found out the day before we arrived. On the other hand, I would add more salty options and some fruit at breakfast.

The place is beautiful! And the hosts were friendly and helpful! Good breakfast
