the room equipment is a little bit outdated and when you splash the toilet it is really noisy especially during the night. There was a little bit noise from the road but nothing what would disturb my sleep.

really nice host, good location if you have a car as you ca visit multiple beaches nearby (up to 1hr). Rooms were basic but you have everything what you need. The room was cleaned everyday. I appreciate the bottle of water every day. You can park your car in front of the room. There is a big restaurant with good food

The only thing was that one of the two room and a cigarette smell that did not go completely away. Other than all fine. Maybe the dinner menu of the half-board may have a bit more options (you can choose between 2 first and twos second courses, a third one would be nice)

We quite dug the idea of the museum like set-up. Nice and spacious swimming pool, good food, good breakfast and parking always available. The hotel is conveniently located to reach the various beaches depending on how the wind blows

It is a very old hotel, which is not a problem if you are into antiques. It got really cold in april and we couldn't get the aircondition to work so we were pretty cold the whole night

Everything was nice. Friendly stuff always helpful, kids friendly. Lovely perfect place for family, Restaurant was tasty and friendly stuff. Of course it just a bit far from beach but location it hill.side view with so beautiful for sunset. Will be back again. And strongly recommend!!!

The room is a bit small for 4 persons. The beds are fine but the space for suitcases is just enough. It fits but there is not much space left.

The location is best suited to those with a car. It's not possible to walk into Carbonia safely.

I had a difficult situation as my sister was in the local hospital. The owner and his family went above and beyond - transporting me to the hospital and supermarket, helping me communicate with the doctors and generally making me feel welcome and cared for.They have hearts of gold. The hotel itself is full of character - with lots of fascinating objects to discover. The whole place has a rustic charm. The room was simple but comfortable - with a fridge and the possibility to make tea and coffee.

The rooms were fairly basic (but comfortable); the room rate was very reasonable so expectations were not high and was still good value. Pool was closed but that is because we were in April.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nothing was too much to help you. Restaurant food was brilliant. Apparently one of the best on the island and we can see why! Great “rainforest” style showers.

The furniture is a bit dated but its an old place after all so we know about that beforehand. Also no mention of the wifi password...he forgot to ask for it and had to use our own connection

Our room had a parking just in front of it and we really liked it. The breakfast was quite good and tasty. The hosts are very welcoming especially the man of the house who also gave us a bottle of home brewed beer to take with us.

WiFi was a bit scarce in our room. There wasn't any maid service, though frankly we never asked either. (we wound up staying 4 nights even though it was just supposed to be 2). I'm sure if we asked they would have sent someone right over.

The restaurant is one of the best we've found in 12 years living in Sardinia. The hotel was partially closed so we had a "quad" room even though there were just 2 of us - it was absolutely fine. The bathroom was super large! The room was very quiet (despite a wedding going on when we arrived in the nearby banquet room, we didn't hear a thing when we closed our door.) The staff were all very helpful and nice - my husband had had a procedure at the nearby hospital and they brought us our food when asked. (Not sure if this is common but it was very kind!) The breakfast was also very adequate - though we only took advantage once during our stay. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in Carbonia. oh, one more thing - there really is a museum on the premises and it is fascinating the old artifacts they have collected. I hope to go back (at least to the restaurant) to spend more time looking over every thing.
