How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It’s not possible to take a shower whiteout making all the room wet. For me, the room was not clean enough. Under the bed were socks from the previous visitors.
We stayed for one night. And for short period it’s ok. There were 2 beds for our kids( not a sofa). Water, coffee, tea - were available for free. Not far from apartment there is a place where free parking is possible.

The owner was most helpful and accomodating. Complimentary coffe and water throught our stay. Comfy beds. No problem finding a parking space near by.

There was no private parking, but free street parking was available. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience as someone broke our car window. It’s a good idea to avoid leaving anything visible inside the car when parking there.
Overall, it was a good stay. The place matched the photos and description, and the host was very friendly and welcoming.

The walls are not very soundproof.
The stay was acdording to the expectations. The room was new, clean and very well equipped. The owner was pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived and gave us some essential tips. Although not directly in the downtown, you reach it in less than half an hour by tram. Especially recommend staying here if you are coming by car, it is easy to find parking right at the location of the accomodation.

The bed is super comfortable , room and bathroom was very clean. There was unlimited coffee and water bottles available in the hallway to take. There is even a mini fridge in the room if you need. There is a bus stop nearby for public transport. The host is very nice and welcoming.

The owner is very polite and friendly. We were late. He called a few times out of curiosity. The location is 5 km from the center. No problem for those with a car. Public transportation is also very common. Tea, coffee and water are offered at the facility, which is nice.

No cover over window in bathroom, neighborhood was fine for a couple but I wouldn’t want to walk around by myself as a woman.
Nice terrace off our room bc we were in the very top floor. Newly remodeled. Lots of room for storing items, fridge, coffee, tea and kettle available for use in an area outside the room. Free parking nearby on the street.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel is family owned and they are very nice people. I can't recommend them enough. The owner who we talked with was incredibly helpful and did for us more than enough. I hope they keep this up, they are doing a wonderful job. We had a hard time because our original hotel in Bologna had refused us day prior because of floods and this hotel in Florence was our last minute option. I couldn't be more satisfied. Also free coffee, water and tea was included :-)

Walls to the next room seem very thin since someone coughing woke us up, and the bathroom tile walls need cleaning.
Very nice host who explained to us everything clearly, and we had complementary coffee and water. Clean and comfortable bed and room. There was also a very large TV at the room. Bathroom was spacious. And the window blinds were remote controlled.
