There weren't much cooking facilities such as a microwave or stove

I liked that our room was very neat and clean. The location of the room is extremely convenient as La Spezia centrale railway station is just a 10 minute walk away. The lock system was not at all complicated which made us feel safe and convenient. I also liked the fact that our host gave us really good recommendations for places to visit. I recommend this place to anyone who's visiting Cinque Terre or La Spezia.

The room was dark because of the position of the window. A balcony would have been nice to have too.

The room and bathroom were a good size. We also appreciated the room being made up on 3 out of the 4 days. It was very clean and quiet. Massimo and Cinzia were very kind and met us nearby to walk us to their place.

The room was comfortable, clean, with a little balcony, all the necessities were provided, even the steam iron, the communication was great with the host, and the location is excellent - 2 min from one of the train stations.

The "in-house" availability of a minimal breakfast...but not critical since there are nearby shops.

Massimo went above and beyond! He was on the sidewalk outside to greet us. He helped with the luggage and then joined me in our car to find free parking. He recommended a restaurant that was one of the best dinners that we had in Italy. He was jovial, friendly and accommodating. If we travel to La Spezia again we will absolutely book again.

Nice and friendly host Massimo. Very clean and tastefully decorated room. Quiet environment with sound proof windows and comfy bed for good night sleep. Shower with very good pressure. Have a mini fridge and also an electric kettle for making tea. Very centrally located and convenient to walk around. Reasonably priced.

Very beautiful room, in a very convenient location. Massimo was very nice and helpful. He contacted me via WhatsApp and we check-in earlier (no charge) and there was self-check out.

Our host, Massimo was wonderful. So helpful with information about the sites to see. A very well organized B&B. I have to say he is the best host and accomodation that we have stayed in Italy. I would highly recommend Sweet Dreams.

Very clean, loved the jacuzzi! Short walk to many restaurants. Massimo welcomed us with open arms and gave us a quick run down of the location, boat times etc. . An absolutely wonderful stay.

Everything was Perfect

Great Location, close to Train Station, Restaurants, Cafes. Great Host Massimo met us at the Entrance when we arrived, bought our Bags to our Room, Recommended a great place for Breakfast and also organised our Taxi when we left.

We thought the bed was a bit hard bit it was ok. But after days of walking in Cinque Terre my back could have needed a softer bed but we are all different so no complain really 👍🏾

We really like the location of Sweet Dreams. We also really liked the room, the host and La Spezia. Easy to be on contact with the host and we got all the help we needed. Perfect!

Firstly, Massimo and Cinzia were excellent, so helpful and friendly also Cinzia's son Fabio helped with some of my questions. The location is great, close to the train station, restaurants and even a huge market outside the door on one of the days I was there. Having the train station was great for trips to Cinque Terre, also close is the harbour for boat trips to Cinque Terre, which was very pleasant. Massimo helped so much with this boat trip and even sent me directions to the boat. My "Shabby Chic" room was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Being an "old" guy on one of my first trips travelling alone, again Massimo was so helpful with his suggestions and kindness. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Everything! The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with a mini fridge, kettle and hairdryer. There were other little touches like tea and coffee, plenty of towels and black out blinds. The hosts go above and beyond! So friendly, helpful and responsive. I can’t recommend this accommodation enough.

The location is mostly quiet, with the exception of Fridays with the street market, which was pretty loud and made the street incredibly crowded and more overwhelming to get where I wanted to go. This is no fault of the owners, just something for other travelers to be aware of. Otherwise, my stay was perfect!

I had an incredible stay at Sweet Dreams! Massimo contacted me the day before my stay, and we kept in contact as I was arriving and throughout the duration of my stay. He greeted me as I approached the stay for check-in. Massimo and his wife’s hospitality were spectacular! Massimo went over a map of La Spezia with me and provided a few nearby recommendations. Sweet Dreams is in an ideal location, with Dolce Magie (incredible pastry shop) within a few minutes walk, a daily produce market within a 5 minute walk (except Sundays), 10 minute walk to La Spezia Centrale, and a 15 minute walk to the harbor, if you want to talk the ferry to Cinque Terre (I highly recommend!). My room in Sweet Dreams was very comfortable and the location is pretty quiet. I was very well taken care of at Sweet Dreams, and it was the perfect home base while I explored the Cinque Terre! I recommend this stay to anyone looking to stay in La Spezia or wanting to explore the Cinque Terre, without as large of crowds.
