We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesWould be really helpful to include instructions/guidance on local transportation options, especially since the home is up a fair distance on the steep hill, making walking there not a viable option. We arrived a little before 9 pm. The taxi options are very limited and took us a while to figure out there is a night bus service with long wait time. One other small nit - water pressure in the shower is very very low, almost a trickle and becomes somewhat better after a few minutes of leaving it on. Can be confusing the first time.
Great location with awesome views of the lake. Very nice facilities in the house. Smartly designed beds for a family of four in the available space. The host was very responsive on WhatsApp.

United StatesBefore you book, recognize that this is in the town of Perledo. The walk up from Varenna is either 30-40 minutes up a tight mountain road (not safe) or a steep cobblestone path. Down was fine for us (we both like hiking), up would be a challenge, and practically impossible with bags. So you will be dependent on the bus (look up the schedule, your stop is Bar Milan), it comes at most maybe once an hour (though it's a very quick ride up), taxis (though the listed taxi phone numbers at the train station never responded), or a car (though I wouldn't want to have a car here). We walked down each day. Took 20 minutes. Fun but made for sore calves. As a practical matter, it's not a huge deal if you come and go once a day. The bus is timely and efficient. But it just makes you beholden to a schedule and you can't pop back to the apartment midday. This is especially important for arrival and departure as you need to align with the schedule or you might have a long wait. That said, we thought the extra hassle was worth it. Note, Google will take you to the wrong side of the house. You enter from Via Per Tondello, not Esino. It's easy. Just don't mindlessly follow Google.
The apartment is very well appointed. And the view is exactly as advertised. Full sun during the day No complaints at all. Grocery store right down the road. Bus stop right down the road. Very secluded when we were there in late July.

United StatesAnother toilet would always be nice for larger groups but no real complaints. We knew it had only one bathroom and we made it work.
The property was in a beautiful location. Had everything we needed, including adequate space for 5 people. Hosts were friendly and great with communication.

The view over Lake Como is the best about the accomodation. But I would also like to commend the contact person Antonio because he was always fast to help us with our needs.

United KingdomLovely property with a view in peace and quiet. Perfect for the families who can't stay late at night and go to bars and restaurants. Property has a big kitchen so you can have you own "restaurant ". Everything really close by if you have a car.
