How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was a bit of noise come from the other units in the building at night that I could hear in the room.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable, very good facilities and comfortable bed. The location was good, an easy walk to the train starai and old town. Communication with the host was very easy and timely.

It was perfect. The hostess was so nice and friendly. The room was super clean. Good location, not too far from the city centre. She left me breakfast (bread, juice, crackers, water and even a mini bottle of Prosecco). I’ve never felt so comfortable in a stay. Thank you so much.

The facility is a well equipped room in a bigger apartment, so if there are other guests you can hear all the conversations, steps, etc., you feel a bit like you are in a student apartment

Very beautiful and cozy apartment near the city centre. Free parking available 2 minutes away from the apartment. Host was very friendly and helpful.

The hosts were amazing, punctual and friendly. The accommodation is close both to the center and to the airport, we found it easier to go to the center by bus as we left the car on the parking (kindly provided by our hosts, free of charge). The room was small but impeccably clean and it had everything you might need, even a welcome prosecco with two glasses :). Luciana really thought of everything, bravo!

It is quite a walk to the center when it is very hot. But you can take a scooter or the bus.
The owners were amazing. They picked us up from the train station. Also the breakfast was very extensive with a lot of glutenfree options. They were so sweet and gave us tips on what to do and see.

Cozy place, on walking distance to historical center. Very clean and comfortable. They provided coffee, italian breakfast and also left us a cocktail and typical Puglian snack as a welcoming gift. They were very friendly and helpfull and gave us advice on everything about the city, maps, good restaurants, etc. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a stay in Bari.

Nice and cozy room with spaceous bathroom and balcony. Room was clean with pleasant scent. Host was very friendly and helpful. Near the apartment was grocery and bakery. Possibility of free parking with a bit of luck. Walking distance to city center 15 min. Super fast WiFi which is not a standard usually.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sun and Moon B&B in Bari, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. Luchana and her boyfriend provided excellent service, far exceeding the norm in hospitality. From the moment I arrived, they went out of their way to make me feel incredibly welcome. I have never encountered such outstanding service anywhere else I have stayed. The room was clean and comfortable, offering great value for the price. However, the true highlight of my stay was the hosts themselves. Their warm and genuine hospitality made me feel safe and truly at home in Bari. If you are visiting Bari, I cannot recommend Sun and Moon B&B enough. Even if it's not for the great price and clean accommodations, staying here just to meet Luchana and her boyfriend is reason enough. They are an exceptional piece of heaven in terms of making you feel welcome and cared for.

The noise of the street was a little annoying, but you have to take into consideration also this point.
The accommodation is very clean and very cosy. Even if it’s small, you have also enough space. The owner was very nice with us. She provided us many information about the restaurants and the location from Bari.
