Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineYou haven't terrace there. Location is bad - area is dirty, despite it is a central area((( You will hear everything your neighbors will have been doing.
The room is clean and nice. Jacuzzi is very nice and big. Staff is very polite and ready to help any time. They provide a laundry service for free - appreciate it! Breakfast are included (they are simple, but you won't be hungry)

United KingdomA little deceiving as it’s actually an apartment in a block where many locals reside, which isn’t a problem but that’s not advertised, the resident above us had a dog and it was quite noisy for about half an hour both nights, but all in all it was decent to sleep in while we were sight seeing in Rome for 2 days. The breakfast wasn’t up too much either but that wasn’t a problem for us as we had a tea/coffee and just headed out for the day anyway
Great location for the train station, everything was as described.

United KingdomWardrobe but no chest of drawers (small detail though). Not the most straight forward to check in and out.
Room huge, clean and comfortable Spa Bath obviously amazing, can't fault that at all. Very romantically decorated. Nice touch that they had some juice and wine in the fridge on the house. Location is good, near a train/bus and metro station. Staff were nice.

NetherlandsThe suits are in an apartment building on the 8th floor. Unfortunately ,because of that, our night was quite noisy as we could hear little pests roaming around. Gladly, we didn't have any visitor. The elevator was so small that a baby stroller couldn't fit in. The parking is nearby, and it costs 20€ a day but is not very noticeable and we spent a lot of time searching for it. We were happy, though, that our car was kept safe in there. Train, metro, and the bus they are 12 min walking distance, but the area is not in the safest part of Rome, so as long you don't stay over too much, you should be fine.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The jacuzzi on a little terrace was amazing, and the wine was even better. The next day, we had a selection of pastries for breakfast, and the coffee was excellent. Definitely recommend

United StatesI am pretty sure I used the hotel filter when looking for accommodations as I dont like Airbnbs but maybe I didnt and that is on me. Anyway, this is an airbnb, someone comes to open the door for you and give you keys but there is no onsite staff. Someone comes back in the morning to set up a very sad breakfast. It's on the 8th floor of a very old building, where they have 4 units inside of appears to have one day been a big room. People next door to us were arguing and the unit above us had several dogs that not only constantly barked, also scratched the floor non-stop. Outside was very ugly, tons of trash and very sketchy. I was traveling with my daughter and I did not feel safe at. I also did not like that they made copies of our passports, looking at it should have been more than enough.
The room itself was comfortable. They provide slippers, there is mini fridge in the room and a little outdoor sitting area. There is a microwave in the common/breakfast area. Very close to the main train/bus station, and there was a bus stop immediately across the street where you could catch a bus to the main station if you didn't want to walk. We didn't try any but there were a few restaurants nearby and a grocery store.

Finlandit is a top floor from apartment complex, not a Hotel or a suite. Pictures looks nice but it is quite dated and cheaply made and the breakfest is just some sweets and machine coffee. No sound proofing at all, everyday you can hear when somebody opens the doors and takes coffee from the machine. also every morning dogs made noise from the neighbour and it sounded like the dogs where in the room. I do not think it is worth the money.
there was some nice cafes and restaurants near by and it was 10min from Tiburtina station by walking. sauna and hot tub looked nice.

LatviaOnly downside: the owners should invest in expensive, soundproof doors. Although the doors are present, it appears they were never properly installed. If you want to sleep in the following morning after a long day of walking in Rome, be prepared to wake up at 6:30 AM. There is no privacy at all.
Beautiful apartment. Cozy, clean, and modern. Perfect for couples, as the owners have made it special and romantic. Highly recommended. Excellent location for visiting Rome. The metro and high-speed train station are within a 10-minute walk. There are many great restaurants nearby.

SwitzerlandFirstly it is not a hotel or Air BnB it is a bed and breakfast located at the 8th floor of a commercial building with only 4 rooms and with a very sad and bad breakfast menu. I would never recommend any of my friends and the area was not even safe.

NorwayThis hotel or place is on the 8 floor. First it’s very hard to find the place on top floor. It’s residential building and 3 bedroom flat where you get one of your room. Kitchen is the reception where windows are closed so you have no idea what the heck that person doing with your card details and documents. Rooms are not what they show you on picture. It looks completely unsafe and not at all you gets the feeling of the hotel.
Nothing at all
