Patrons of the nearby shops would congregate and smoke in the breakfast area. We learned to go down for breakfast after 10 am.

The room was gorgeous, so historic with an excellent huge bed. Breakfast was delicious, a choice of brioche or pizza breads in the cafe on the main floor. The manager could not have been nicer. He was very responsive to any questions and assisted us with all needs. The location was the best in Arezzo.

Beautiful decor in a prime location where they have successfully combined the historic with modernity. The customer service was incredible and the host Marco was super helpful and responsive even providing recommendations and securing reservations for us. Must go back!

A beautiful palazzo sensitively restored- delightful fusion of historic and contemporary aesthetics. Our room was beautiful and comfortable- windows opened onto a lovely garden. Part of complex with a cafe bar and wonderful curated boutique of great Italian and other designers. A Roman mosaic is preserved under glass floors in the cafe bar. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay easy and pleasant. Very lively area Thank you so much - we hope to return soon

The room was a little quirky for my personal taste, the bathroom set up (glass partitions and curtains) wasn’t to our liking but maybe other guests would be happy with that. The room wasn’t very practical (very little surface / storage space) but for one night was ok. There was no breakfast available because the bar (where breakfast is usually served) is closed on a Sunday, the day that we were staying.

The room is huge, quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The location is superb - right in the heart of the city. Marco was friendly and helpful and a pleasure to communicate with. There is secure parking within about a ten minute walk.

A beautiful location and exceptional suites, with renowned, high-end fashion boutique and lively courtyard bar downstairs. Accommodation suites opened in July 2024 and reveal the centuries-old history of the city with a strong design ethos. Roman mosaics were uncovered beneath the building during its restoration, also on view. Warm, helpful and gracious staff; and a great food and wine culture all around.

We loved EVERYTHING !

Sugar rooms combines luxury, elegance and comfort in a minimalist way with great success. Our stay was remarkable. The bed, sheets, pillows, lighting, airconditioning system, bathroom were all superbly designed and chosen. Sugarrooms is in the heart of arezzo but the rooms are very quiet. A delicious breakfast is served in the courtyard of this amazing historical palace that hosts also sugar, one of the most luxurious and cool retail stores in the world. Riccardo, the manager/concierge/check-in was of a genuine warmth and courtesy hard to find. He charmed us with truly caring for our well being throughout our 2 night stay.

Beautifully designed, super cool palazzo in the center of Arezzo. Special shoutout to Marco and Ricardo, who welcomed us in the best way possible and helped us with dinner reservations, train tickets, and everything we needed. Bravo!

A beautiful palazzo. The best place to stay in Arezzo. One of the highlight in Tuscany. We also had a very warm welcome from Riccardo. He was trying everything to get tickets for the Giostra del Saracino. Hospitality that not cannot be surpassed. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay in this beautiful hotel. We highly recommend!
