How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing but I suggest to have like late check out at least until 4,and the costumers pay ,no problem .Because some times we have late plan .

Need make it more handicap accessible . A lot of steps need railings on some of the walls to hold on to while traveling the steps

Location was perfect, minutes from everything, easy to reach on foot from the bus station, seconds away from a piazza with huge cathedral. Room was air conditioned to perfection on arrival, I had a view of the street and edge of the square, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. I had such a good night's sleep. Staff were excellent, I was warmly welcomed and they were super helpful. I will definitley return to this gem!

The staff at this hotel are so professional and kind. My husband collapsed and was rushed to Marsala hospital with a head injury and an inflamed intestine. I was beside myself with worry. The young people at reception found me a taxi driver to pick me up from the hospital after a night asleep on a wheelchair in A & E, put me into a lovely room with a balcony that overlooked the old town and the staff were so sweet and attentive to me when I was on my own at breakfast that I will be eternally grateful to them. Their English was perfect as was their patience. Their frequent refrain was " We are here for you". And they were. Thank you so very much.

The breakfast was more than enough. You can choose from a variety of food. Even though the check in time is kind of late, the staff let us store our bags earlier.

It's a bit dated in design, functional, but dated. The breakfast could have been of a higher quality in the juice and yoghurt selection, but the cheeses were good.
Super friendly and helpful receptionist - I did not get her name, but she spoke excellent English too. The room was really, really comfortable, with good air conditioning, very comfortable furnishings (pillows, duvet etc) and had a bonus walkway with a partial view of the main square.

Air con was a bit twitchy on the second day of my stay, but my room stayed cool. There is a school at one side of the building (the opposite side from the main entrance), which was a bit loud on the third morning while the kids waited for class, but it wasn't too bad. The shower was a little small, but it had a power spray attachment that made up for it.
Location is literally right behind the main square. Easy walk to all the main sites. Staff were friendly and accessible throughout my stay. Although I didn't need it, breakfast did cater for coeliac requirements - just ask the staff. Bed was comfortable. I had a small balcony which was lovely.

The hotel is in the heart of the historic centre, so you can just walk out to the sights as well as bars and restaurants. Having valet parking was a real bonus.
