Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThe fact that we stayed only 4 days
What a stunning apartment and such a riot of colour and still not garish or gaudy...so aptly named - Sound of Colors..The hosts Marty and Marvin are wonderful people, always ready to help. Marty met us on arrival and she took so much pain to explain everything . You can see her passion for her home and her guests' comfort. They live upstairs so everything has her personal touch . She was an interior designer and it shows in all the little artefacts and little cacti and plants placed all over the house - even the ensuite bathroom is a work of art. The cherry on the cake was the Gramophone record player with a wonderful collection of vinyl records with a good collection of old songs. The beds are super comfy, the apartment squeaky clean, excellent security and parking in front of their garage, kitchen is well equiped, Oh and I forgot to mention the terrace sitout - perfect for a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. Marty had left a small tin of olive oil for us. The best part is the location - within 5-10 minutes walk away from the supermarkets, the lungomare, the restaurants , bars and the port where you can catch ferries to the other pretty towns on Lake Garda. We are definately coming back to this place

Germanyseemed like cats used to be present at one point in the apt (there were some scratches on the sofa), but we didn’t mind that at all.
Marvin’s pleace is really unique: From the futuristic building to interior design inside the house and terace. We were pleasantly surprised about the size of the whole place. Marvin and Marta were also great hosts and made sure we have everything we need for our stay in Desenzano (small gifts and a list with all the nice places to go out for coffee, drinks or eat). Location is perfect: just half way between the railway station and old town. Beds are comfortable and quiet, bathrooms were super clean (and with an interesting design one of them).

United KingdomNothing - I wish I had more time to stay.
It was a privilege to stay in this extremely cool and comfortable apartment. The building is a masterpiece of brutalist architecture, and inside the owners have kept many of the beautiful original features - something that is very rare to see in today's culture of mindless renovation! The apartment is spectacular and unique. I took many photos of its fascinating design features and beautiful spaces. The space is excellent, with a generous living area, a brilliant kitchen with terrace and opaque glass wall, and very ample and comfortable bedrooms. The bathrooms are large and benefit from a shower and bath. The main terrace leading off the living space has lake views (just) and plenty of space for eating and relaxing. The location is also great - it's just minutes walk from the attractive centre of Desenzano, where I had some great meals, gelati, and visited the interesting local market. I had an excellent experience staying in this a singular space, and the hosts were fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this apartment as a stylish and supremely comfortable base for visiting Lake Garda. Thank you, Marta and Marvin! <3
