The village Dormelleto is too small and offer not so much possibility for dinner

Our room was facing a very loud main road. Although the windows seal the noise well when closed, we tried to sleep with open windows which was difficult because of the noise that continued until after midnight (friday night)

Only critism and its not the hotel buts uts next to a very busy road so although it's quiet inside the hotel you cannot sit outside fir a drink in the evening etc

The bathroom facilities are a bit old (shower especially), could do with a bit of renovation. There's not much else to do around the hotel, Lake Maggiore is more beautiful elsewhere.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights as I was traveling for work. The venue I worked at was 8 mins away and I got there by taxi. The hotel is just next door to Dormelletto train station and it has its own restaurant and bar so you really don't even need to leave to have a nice meal or a coffee. The food at the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast was really good and the staff is attentive and kind. Overall a great short stay and being able to catch the train after a 2 min walk is super handy if you're not traveling by car.

Air con didn't work and the room was too hot as a result. To be fair we didn't complain so can't say whether the staff knew about it

Next to the train station made it easy to get to Milan. Breakfast was nice, coffee was good.

I thought I booked a different room, so the decor was a little outdated. But it served its purpose so all in all good.

Isn’t as touristy as the other places. Can still get to places like Stresa but takes a little planning. Most of the tours/activities start from further north. There is a park across the road although access to the lake is limited. No kettle in room. Verandahs are only separated by small see through bushes.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms looked recently renovated. Very very close to the train station which made access to and from the hotel easy. Restaurant was busy and food was great value. Looks like a family run hotel/restaurant. Nice views of the lake from the verandah. Good to enjoy a drink/snacks. Good value/price compared to nearby areas. Shops nearby, although a bit of a walk along a main road.

Photos of rooms on booking.com suggest that they have been updated and are more modern but this is not the case the rooms are older and a bit tired still clean and tidy but not like the new photos suggest this feels a bit miss leading cant comment if there is a room that looks like this as all we saw were older style ones. Very limited parking

Breakfast - very basic but great selection of delicious pastries - hot food was questionable and not very good. But staff very attentive and helpful overall - their English is a little broken and don't always understand what you're saying but they try your best and are very helpful

The hotel is not near to many local facilities, but there is a good selection of public transport on the doorstep to get you further afield when required.

For a 3 star hotel, a very comfortable room, very clean. All the staff were very helpful, and thank you, Christian, for suggesting to us to try the local gin!

The attic ceiling was low at the bathroom so If you are tall you won't be able to stand up in the bathtub, you won't fit.

Very friendly and helpful stuff, they booked us a taxi to the airport at 5am, and since we had to wake up really early, they said they could make us coffee at 4:30am! An espresso was exactly what we needed at that time. Also the room was very clean with a comfortable bed.
