⸻ Terrible location of the apartment within the building. I had the impression I was staying in some kind of basement or converted storage room. The photos on Booking do not match the actual apartment at all. It wasn’t a two-level apartment as advertised — it was a single room with terribly creaky old wooden stairs that woke up the whole family at night whenever someone used them. The name of the apartment is greatly exaggerated and does not reflect reality. However, when we turned on the lights at night, the room filled with mosquitoes. There are no mosquito screens on the windows. In my opinion, the apartment needs a complete renovation. The air conditioning was tolerable. One of the bedrooms looked like a maid’s room. If I had paid the standard price of €200 per night, it would have been a disaster. It’s absolutely not worth more than €100 per night. If you’re expecting to spend romantic moments with your family in a duplex apartment, you’ll be disappointed. On the other hand, the host was very attentive, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions and offer assistance.

Very good location – close to the metro line and the Colosseum. Restaurants nearby. Not a problem to find a parking. Reasonable price – €120 per night for a two-level apartment.

As with many buildings in Rome, it's an old one, so we have a little difficulty with the lock and small windows.

The apartment is located within 5 minutes of walking to Colosseo. The nearest metro station (2 min) is Cavour. The host brought us a meal for breakfast every day around 15-16 pm.

We needed somewhere to sleep last minute, and finding accomodation for 5 people in Rome during holidays isn't easy, but this apartment did its job. Very good price-quality ratio and position.

The power outage.

It's an apartment and great for 3-4 people if 2 of you are a couple, as there is a double bed in the main bedroom (open) area, a small room with a door and single bed, and a makeshift bed in the loft/attic but also in open space. They give such an abundant breakfast with food, yogurt, and sweets and coffee so you won't want anything more for breakfast. The staff were very communicative and friendly and catered to our requests, queries and needs. There was an intermittent power outage during our stay though which was not so convenient. Wifi was excellent.

Breakfast: that is giving the previous day and not warm food, just biscuits, fruits and pretoast toasts. Location: nothing. Room: that there was a place with bed sheets in it and they needed to enter and collect them to prepare other rooms, moving my things on that surface. And light and internet gone and no one on site to see or resolve.

the staff was super friendly and helpful, the location is amazing, and honestly for this price it was perfect. It's not a fancy or particularly beautiful room, but the bed was comfy, the building felt very safe, and the staff was super responsive. If you are planning on being out and about enjoying Rome all day, this is a great choice. Specially if you are last minute and on a budget like I was! No aircon in my room but the fan was more than enough.

Noise coming from other rooms during night when they were using their shared toilet. It happened that a couple came drunk from night out and made a lots of noise and they even try to open our door with their key.

The toilet was outside the room, but this was already stated so it wasn't a surprise - Just a bit further away than I thought. I couldn't find water but they kindly gave me a bottle when I asked. The breakfast was OK, lots of selections. It was left in the room the night before, so mostly package stuff, (but with some fresh fruit) though I only ate a part of it because I wanted to have breakfast outside so it wasn't too important.

The location is perfect, right next to all the cafes and bars in monti, also a short walk/cycle to other central parts. The building was nice and had character. For the location and price it is really great! They are very helpful with any questions. The breakfast had a good selection (which was left in the room).. bed was comfortable and plenty of cupboard space. Nothing too fancy, but for the price and location I think to have a private room and bathroom at this price is a luxury so overall pretty happy. They even gave me little rome souvenir gifts which was very thoughtful:)

Not big enough for 3 people as advertised. Had to get owner to get another chair so we all had a seat, minimal basic facilities. ie. no toaster, no plug for sink, not enough utensils for 3 people, washing machine but not in use. very hot and saying it is 2 bed room is a stretch as had only a bed in shared space plus a ‘cupboard sized space’ just fitting single bed. Very pricey for what we got.

Location is very good for walking to historical sites. It was clean and we were met by manager who was helpful and polite. We were glad to find a place to stay as arrived in Rome off our 35 hr flight and our first place which we had booked months ago through Booking.com and confirmed 2 days prior, had cancelled on us so lucky to get anything.
