How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Shower temperature wasn't consistent, kept going hot and cold.
So convenient to be right at the airport for next day flight. Lovely big room and excellent buffet breakfast.

Perfect base for an overnight pre-flight stay - so well located between train and plane - good choice of restaurant (and room service) options; staff in the Monterosa bar were great, food excellent and prices remarkable for the location.

Our room was a little bit of a walk down long corridors; but not a deal breaker.
Location, location, location! Very convenient to the Milano Airport. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms with a very comfortable bed amenities. I highly recommend; especially if you stay the night prior to traveling to the US the next morning.

We had a very late flight and the staff were incredibly accommodating, Booking.com unfortunately had confirmed my stay yet the booking had not gone through to the hotel, as a result I was kindly upgraded and provided complimentary breakfast. The staff was really accommodating to get me settled in as I had connecting flight in 7 hours. You could feel that the staff was very customer-centric

All was good.
Handy location for our early morning flight out of Milan. Comfy room, quiet. Nice dining experience in hotal restaurant. Felt safe in the location.

There was a high pitch noise in the room every few minutes and some knocks on a wall, so it was hard to fall asleep at first. We had a room next to a supply closet. The Smart TV functions were disabled so we could not connect a laptop without a wire and could not use apps like Netflix etc in the TV.
Very big and clean room, friendly staff, great location for early flights!

An excellent hotel experience for my final night in Italy and having an early morning flight back home. The room was spacious, bright, with modern facilities and a very comfortable King bed. Bathtubs are underappreciated, and I enjoyed soaking in the tub the night before 13 hours of flying. The breakfast was amazing!

Hotel room doors slam too easy and can be disrupting when other guests close doors during sleeping hours.
Hotel staff was first class, room was clean and very nice for the price. Bed super comfy and the restaurant had some of the best food I consumed on this trip to Italy. The location next to the airport is very convenient and I would recommend for early flights or Long lay overs. The only negative I have to report is the hotel doors slam shut and can be disrupting for sleep. I still Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

There was noise from the corridor which was annoying.
Obviously the access to the airport was ideal. We enjoyed in the restaurant and slept well in the comfortable beds.

I don't think I've ever ordered room service before but I was with my daughter and it was late, it took about an hour and a half to arrive (told 40 min max) and the food was not great.
Right above terminal 1 and next to car rental, so is in a great location for the airport, the room was big and comfortable and the staff nice it really saved me after a cancelled flight.

The sofas in the lobby were too deep to be comfortably seated
Convenient location to terminal and car-rental collection point. Generous spread for an airport hotel Breakfast. Live omelette station was a plus. Friendly staff. Hotel room was larger than evicted. Comfortable bed and pillows.
