As high as the tourist turnover is in Venice, I was shocked by how clean the hotel was! The room was simple but had a lot of charm. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start a day filled with lots of activity. I would definitely come back!

TV signal was not great. Certain times in the evening / early morning I could hear others stamping loudly above me upstairs and in the hall, but thankfully it was not for too long.

Clean small room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast (one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had). Very friendly staff. Perfect location. Very central but the street was not noisy.

We could not have use of an ironing board/iron in the room, for safety reasons. If we wanted to use an iron, then the staff would quickly arrange for everything to be set up for us in the breakfast room. Still, it's a little inconvenient. We would also like tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The location is amazing; the staff are very welcoming and efficient, and help to make the stay pleasant. The hotel is a little gem.

Nothing! It was all great for me!

I was a solo female traveler and felt completely safe and comfortable ! The property was beautiful with amazing art hanging on every wall! Red carpet in the elegant hallways to my room. I loved looking out the windows to see a perfect Italian courtyard full of pigeons! The room was lovely and comfortable with lots of pillows and a cozy blanket. I could open my window to hear the street noise below which I love or close it and have complete quiet. The breakfast was full of variety, plentiful and delicious! They bring you your own little pot of coffee and cream. The staff was sooooo kind and helpful ! Elena was incredibly helpful with a charger when mine died and another lovely lady gave me snacks when I overslept Freon jet lag and was too tired to go out and forage food! The most handsome gentleman gave me clear instructions on getting to my water taxi and finding money exchange . I am going back in the spring and I will absolutely stay at Hotel Serenissima every time I return. Can’t say enough good things! 💐

the only problem we had and it was not with the hotel was the private water taxi the hotel got for us when we got to the airport the boat operator refused credit card and demanded cash only and I believe this is something they should have told the hotel to inform us of before the ride and i also think it might be illegal to not take credit card as the operator who brought us to the hotel took are card.

Some of the floor surfaces were uneven, which is to be expected in an old building and some people may struggle with this, but we thought it added to the charm and character if the building
