It was quite a walk fro the parking areas, but the breathtaking lookout coming to the location takes it all away!! So I guess we really didn't mind after all :)

The location is PRIME in Old town. We love that we were greeted and communicated to prior our stay. We were instructed with where to park as one can not just easily park in town. We LOVE the breakfast that was dropped to us for the mornings! That was such a treat. Checking in was so smooth, and

There might’ve been a miscommunication with the bedrooms. It technically sleeps six, but there is only one actual small bedroom with a door upstairs. The main living area has one very comfortable, large bed and then a large sofa bed as well. But the four people sleeping downstairs would be sharing the same room. It’s fine for families, but if you want privacy for couples, two couples would be sharing the same room. Other than that, we really enjoyed it

The breakfast food is brought to your apartment but it not the best quality and no fruit included. Heating cannot be set to a desired temperature so you have to bear the cold. Terrace need some love, broken chairs and lights, maybe add some plants as well.

Didn’t come with a seaside view. Shocking, I know – it’s almost like I should’ve checked a map before booking. Still, zero points for Adriatic access ;)

Imagine waking up in a beautifully restored stone home in the heart of Matera and drinking coffee on a rooftop terrace straight out of a movie. That’s basically what this apartment offers. Bonus points for being spotless, huge, and hosted by someone kind and flexible – early check-in was the cherry on top. Grazie mille!

Easy communication with the host and the location is very central and easy to find. Very nice room with everything we needed. The breakfast was delivered fresh to us in the morning and was very good. We had a great time there

We were thoroughly impressed by the spacious two-floor apartment, beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The highlight was undoubtedly the 360-degree rooftop terrace, offering breathtaking views of the old city, especially enchanting in the evening. The apartment's prime location within the historic center made exploring Matera's attractions effortless. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find the host had thoughtfully prepared soft drinks, milk, Nutella, and a variety of jams. In the morning, fresh focaccia and assorted croissants were delivered for breakfast, adding a delightful touch to our experience. The kitchen was equipped with basic amenities, including an espresso machine and milk frother, along with coffee capsules and tea. However, the espresso machine didn't want to collaborate with us. Additionally, the internet connection was strong in the main room but very weak in other areas of the apartment. Overall, our stay at Seicentotufi was exceptional, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Matera.

The room was perfectly located on one of the main streets of Matera. The communication with the hostess was smoothless and check-in easy to arrange. We enjoyed our stay and would have loved to extend it with a few days if we had the time.

Obviously it's part of staying in Matera, but the room lacks windows and the furniture is rather minimalistic.

The only point to call out is the wine bar next door - open to early hours of the morning. Making it difficult to sleep.

As restaurants and bars are very close there might be some noise at night. The breakfast from the bakery Arrives only around 8 so we did miss it as we had to leave at 7.30.

The house is amazing ( apt 601) very clean great view and free of clutter. It has great terraces with a 360 view on Matera.

It is very charming appartements with balcon and amazing roof top exactly in the center of historic center. There is very comfortable, beautiful and new design, good energy! It was very big pleasure spent time on roof-top with amazing view on city. big thanks for Oksana, who meet us, gave all explanation about apartments and places on city what better to visit.. and it was so cute to found our breakfast in the morning with local foods and big soul 😊

The location the spaciousness the roof top terrace the balcony the views are breathtaking. We arrived early great communication were able to go in earlier Do not bring heavy suitcases to matera it is steep and lots of stairs gave us parking directions
