How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Temperature in the apartment was extremely low, we were freezing at night.
Very nice apartment, clean and spacious. There was coffee, coffee machine, towels, bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect, very close to the main shopping street and about 10 minutes to the train station. Self check-in was great, perfectly explained.

The air con wasn’t working during our stay

We spent a long weekend in Bergamo and had a great stay at this property. The location is excellent – just a 6-minute walk to the shopping area and about 10 minutes to the train station. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The room was very clean, well-organized, and comfortable. Both check-in and check-out were smooth and well arranged. Although we didn’t meet the host in person, the communication was excellent throughout our stay. The host was very helpful and responsive, even assisting us after our departure when we realized we had left a phone in the room. Highly recommend this place for a pleasant and hassle-free stay in Bergamo!

Great location, close to the train station. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was clean, very comfortable, and nicely furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable – had a great night’s sleep!

We couldn't understand how to turn on the AC, it did turn on by itself at some point and then turned off in the middle of the night. This made the room too warm to be comfortable to sleep in.
Very clean apartment, close to the station, very quiet area. There is water dispenser free of charge, which was a great plus as it was really hot. There was also a hair dryer and straightener in the bathtoom, which I havent seen even in 5 star hotels.

Since there are several rooms, there is some noise when other people come in and out, but overall it is quiet most of the time.
Ideal location on a quiet street, but close to the center and public transport. Extremely clean and cozy room. We also received great assistance from the host with our accommodation and luggage.

We were unlucky that there was road works outside. There was also someone at 5.30 am who came in with bed linen which were very noisy when our room was next to the ‘common area’. As we only stayed one night we don’t know if we were just a little unlucky with the noise that morning.
Very clean, modern and large rooms (super large bed). We liked the location as we only came for one night so was nice to be near train station as well as we were able to lock our bags in a locker the next day for quite a few hours. It’s a short walk from a busier high street area and not too far from the old town.

Some power sockets do not work, otherwise it is an excellent choice.
It is very elegant and tastefully done up. It is also very close to the city centre, so coming and going is easy. It is only few minutes walk to the stations so linking to the airport is easy too.

I wanted to read for a while in the room, but there wasn't really adequate lighting to enable me to do so comfortably.
The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was lovely. The location was great for both the station and the centre of the lower town.

Exit gate to the street didn't open properly and you could get stuck after leaving the building.
Location, clean and warm room & Super friendly and helpful host😁 We could leave our luggage after checking at a locker in the common room.
