How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Savona 18 Suites. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—something we’ve never experienced to this level before. A special thank you to Gianpierro at reception, who did everything in his power to ensure our stay was exceptional. Equally, Aya from the café/restaurant made sure every detail was taken care of and truly elevated our experience. Both Gianpierro and Aya treated us more like friends than guests, creating a warm, personal, and memorable stay. We would highly recommend Savona 18 Suites to anyone visiting Milan. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful art hotel in a cool neighborhood. Suites are very comfortable. A bit far from the main sights in the city but I appreciated learning a different area. Felt safe and lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby.

Seriously, Not Applicable.
The staff are soooo amazing and helpful. We had passport issues and they brushed to our aid. The property is fantastic, clean, modern, comfortable and in a very hip stretch of Via Savona. Subway access is close and super efficient. This place is a gift. So happy to have found it.

Air conditioning temperature is set at 23 celsius which is supposed to be fine. However, it does not feel to be 23 celsius. Woke up at night feeling warm. Cannot reduce the temperature to below 23 celsius.
The location is brilliant and close to some good restaurants. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Room is clean and love the housekeeping.

The breakfast didn't have a large selection, so we decided to skip it and eat outside
the place for a couple is perfect. the room was very clean and big (we ordered a queen suite) the reception was very helpful the location is perfect...near transportation or a walking distance to the city center

The breakfast was not good. The bread was dull, and my omelette was not made properly – it had lumps of egg white in it. The coffee was OK.
The room was comfortable and quiet. The building was very attractive. The location was excellent, with many resturants around.

There are a couple of areas for improvement. We noticed that one duvet had some hairs, which could be addressed to enhance cleanliness standards. Additionally, having access to Netflix or an alternative streaming service would be a great addition, as all the TV channels were translated into Italian, limiting entertainment options for non-Italian speakers. These small adjustments could further elevate the guest experience.
Our stay was enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring our experience was pleasant from start to finish. We highly recommend it and would gladly return!

The couch in the room had some stains on it. An additional table in the sitting area would have been nice

Everything was fine.
Property is located in the very nice area, surrounded with good bars and restaurants. The exceptional thing is that, the hotel was really designed oriented.

Only one small thing - that the coffee is hot.
We loved staying at Savona 18. Great location out of the main city but close enough to access. We walked - 30 min, caught the tram No 14 - 10 min, and taxi - 10 min. All easy options. Local area had many wining and dining options close by including the Navigli Canals with restaurants, bars, historic buildings etc. The staff at the hotel reception were most helpful with many suggestions of dining and places of interest. Cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast room was clean and many offerings including espresso coffee, continental and menu options. We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for options away from the central bustle.

Excellent service from staff, rooms were clean and just the right size, all the amenities were there. The hotel is located in a nice area which is about a 4-7 minute walk from a tram or the metro. There are also lots of nice restaurants nearby.

All was very good.
The hospitality upon arrival was very warm and charming. Wine was offered and we could wait in comfy sofas while they were registering us. An umbrella was offered in case of rain. A very high customer service like we do not see that anymore very often. Greetings from Belgium
