Nothing I didn't like. Just be careful if you have a particularly large car as the parking is a little narrow!

The location was great - not too far into town and near to some lovely restaurants that were recommended. The rooms were modern and comfortable - and the little balcony a delight. Stéphane, who runs the place, was an incredible host and made all the difference. Umbrellas to borrow when it rained, a friendly greeting on arrival, helpful with directions when parking my car and served a delicious breakfast. The dinner recommendation, L'Antica, was delightful as well. He even made the booking for us! Simply excellent, I wish we could stay longer.

Nothing it was all exceptional

Everything was wonderful. Location was perfect, so peaceful and tranquil but only a 5-10 minute walk into Como City and Lake Como. Breakfast was beautifully presented as was everything about the property.

What we didn’t like: honestly, nothing at all.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Sant’Agata Bed & Breakfast. It exceeded all of our expectations! The owner was so welcoming, the room was extremely comfortable, and the house itself was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk to both the city center and the lake. 10/10 – we highly recommend Sant’Agata and will definitely return here on our next visit to Lake Como!

Really exceptional place, Stephan and his wife run this place with most professional quality and dedication. The details of how the villa was renovated speaks for itself, and you can tell that they originally are architects, with lots of experience in the high end tourism space.

I’m being honest when I say our stay was perfect.

Breakfast was beautifully presented and gave guests a wide choice. We were served at the table which was a lovely change to breakfast buffets. Location was a short walk to the old city and the lake.

Fabulous accommodation a short (walking) distance from Como Borghi Station, 10 minutes from the Como old town area and a 20 minutes walk from the lake. The pictures do not really do justice to how good the property/accommodation is. The host, Stephane, and his team provide excellent service. Could not fault this place in any way.

Comfortable B&B located about 15 min walk from old town. There is also a bus stop to and from main train station close by.. Breakfasts were very good and Stephano was a very helpful host. This was a wonderful place of rest after the huge crowds in Como and other villages around the lake. After experiencing enormous lines and great difficulty in obtaining ferry tix, we really appreciated the peace and quiet of SantAgata.

We have been driving the hole day from The Netherlands to Italy and we were quite tired upon the arrival. Our host/the owner, dear Stefano (sorry, if I spell the name incorrectly), was expecting us the same minute we stopped by the gate of Sant Agata, what a relief! You get this warm feeling of coming to somebody you know (or even a family member) right away, so special. Stefano, easy and polite as he was, made us feel welcome at his place. He assisted us while parking our car and showed us around; it's what the host is supposed to do, of course. Though it was more to it: he was proud of his B&B and, more important, he was eager to share it with us all the way. Stefano adviced us a great place to eat, which was just 10 minutes away by feet, the walking distance mattered to us. The adviced restaurant surprised us positively in different ways (Michelin notice). And Stefano gave us a great address to buy cufflinks, which we needed to dress up for a 'black tie' party 2 days later. (Rumour has it, that the shop with cufflinks is sometimes visited by G. Cl..ney). The beds were really great, we slept as two babies in a cradle. The room, the ceilings, the bathroom.. Everything immaculate clean and well cared of. Breakfast. It was one of those special mornings, where everything you see or feel or hear is just perfect. The day we came we had dark clouds and it was a bit cold. The morning after we had picture perfect. The breakfast tables were set outside in a lovely small garden and the big mountain was just in front of us whatching. I can tell a lot about the quality of the breakfast, but I will not. Come and discover! Just believe me Stefano did his atmost best. And his lovely assistent, wonderfull and very polite young lady, made a perfect team. Normally we stay at hotels. Hotel gives you anonimity, This was the very first time we decided to stay at somebodies' private place. We loved it. Grazie mille, Stefano!

A home away from home in Como! Our stay at Santagata Bed and Breakfast was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth that we immediately felt like part of the family. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, with so much character and charm. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — we felt relaxed and at ease the entire time. And the breakfast… it was an absolute highlight! Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with such care. The location is also perfect — peaceful yet close to everything. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return!

Such an incredibly beautiful Bed & Breakfast with lovely owners. We stayed for 1 night and it was perfect - the house and rooms are stunning and super clean, a delicious breakfast was served in the green garden by the owner himself and the location of the house is very close to the old town of Como but the area around the house is super calm and peaceful. We full heartedly recommend this stay and we hope to be back soon. Thank you!
