Wish there were screens on the windows but I know this is uncommon here. Thought there was not enough parking but found more on the side. Maybe someone can let you know about the parking info.

Friendly staff, free on site parking available, very comfortable beds and the hotel decor was very unique. Lovely out door pool with the view over the lake, food was lovely and very reasonably priced.

It is situated on a busy road, so when you parked you can get not very smooth on the road.

restaurant is quite average but has a lovely lovely view which makes up for that!

the location is amazingly convenient and it is certainly the best prioced quad room with a lake view in Como!!!! also it wasnt a sofa bed or a bunk it was 2 enormous double beds and a great sized bayjroom this is quite rare in Italy!!!! a pool is a great bonus also

The beds could use a upgrade. But the rooms were very clean.

Location and restaurant were great. Manager was super helpful as I left a cell phone and he shipped it to me at a different hotel on our trip. The views were fantastic as well.

A mini bar in the room would have been great. But that’s a little unfair as it wasn’t advertised.

Location was good but you will need your own transport to get around. Free car parking at front of hotel. Breakfast was good with cooked eggs and bacon as well as cereals. Restaurant was good for evening meals overlooking the lake. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Been before and would stay again. Air con was great as it was very hot. Great view of lake from balcony.

Pillows bad. Asked for extra but just need better softer pillows Only instant coffee in room and warmer leaked but had a decent hotel type breakfast you could buy it was okay

There was no complimentary water provided in the room, which would have been a nice touch. Also, there was a small leak at the bottom of the shower glass, so water tended to spill onto the bathroom floor.

Wonderful Stay at Hotel San Marino We had a really pleasant stay at Hotel San Marino. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which made a big difference. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything we needed was easily available. I especially appreciated the breakfast—it was fresh, varied, and definitely worth the 10 euros. A great way to start the day! I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others looking for good value and warm hospitality.

Most of the dislikes are outside of the hotels control - the mosquitos and the unreliable buses. The nearest largest supermarket that we found is located in Como proper but the bar is reasonably priced for water. The breakfast was a little basic but there was something available for each of our tastes. The restaurant has a limited menu.

The staff were really welcoming. The pool and outside area was lovely and had magnificent views of the lake. The hotel was a little dated but overall charming. We had a room with a view of the lake and it being on the road didn’t bother us. Our room had both a fan and AC, which was a god send due to the heatwave hitting Italy at the time. The hotel is on a bus route and the stop both ways is outside the hotel.
