Last weekend, my family and I, including our two young children, had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious and exclusive hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel surpassed all our expectations. The interiors are stunningly designed, and our room was nothing short of fantastic. We were treated to breathtaking views that added a special touch of comfort and elegance to our stay. Each morning, we enjoyed delicious and varied breakfasts, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. In the evenings, we relaxed at the bar, savoring exquisite cocktails in a cozy atmosphere. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally pleasant and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Their attentiveness and professionalism made us feel right at home, ensuring that our stay was both comfortable and memorable. The hotel’s location is ideal, with all major attractions within walking distance, allowing us to easily explore and enjoy the surrounding area. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa area, where we had a wonderful time splashing in the pool with our children and indulging in some relaxation. This trip was the fulfillment of my wife’s long-held dream to visit the hotel featured in the second season of the TV series “The White Lotus.” The reality truly surpassed our expectations, making it an unforgettable experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this remarkable hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking top-notch service, exceptional comfort, and unforgettable experiences. The food was ok but not exceptional. We had lunch and it didn’t sit so well. Ideally they could move the gym to a place with a view on the gardens rather than in a closed room.

As expected of a Four Seasons. Beautiful inner courtyard. Corridors and rooms a little corporate. Gorgeous big bathrooms. The staff was relaxed and professional but not stuffy.

Spectacular, historic property on a storied perch overlooking the Mediterranean with views of Mt Etna from some locations. This is a fairly large hotel (110 rooms). We were upgraded on arrival to a room with a terrace and plunge pool - it was a little too chilly to use in late April- but provided a nice view back-dropped by the Sea. The service was helpful and responsive, but did not feel as personalized as many of the non-chain historic properties we have enjoyed in Italy. Beautiful location, beautiful gardens, lovely casual restaurant high above the Sea (the Anciovi). Anyone a fan of Season 2 of White Lotus will enjoy comparing the actual hotel to scenes from the series, much of which was filmed in additional properties around Sicily rather than specifically at the hotel as you might assume. The hotel is an oasis of calm and beauty. Taormina itself is, like Capri and other Italian charmers, on the verge of being overwhelmed by tourism. Even in late April walking the main Corso was jostling arm-to-arm almost all day long.

The bartender was rude. The bar was empty and the room very quiet with nobody around but him behind the bar. I asked him is the bar was open and his answer was NO. To later say that yes, it was open. I did not really appreciate it.
