Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicWe stayed here for seven nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were helpful, the garden was lovely, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. Although the room was a bit small, the terrace provided enough space to enjoy all the necessary comforts. There is nice, safe parking. Bonarcado may feel a little off the beaten path, but it features charming traditional Sardinian architecture. One hidden gem was Fontana Lauru, a beautiful spot with a surprisingly deep and calming vibe. It's best visited after dark—and then follow the lighted path down to the Basilica of St. Mary for a truly magical experience. The hotel also had a small, friendly dog who came to say goodbye early in the morning as we were leaving. That simple gesture made our departure especially memorable. We had a very pleasant time and I can recommend this place. Thanks

ItalyRooms are quite dark because of windows only on one side, and it's not really feasible to open the curtains on that side because of staff and other guests passing by.
Beautiful grounds, handsome dining room, quality food both for dinner and breakfast, likable staff.

IrelandNo toilet paper in room + empty cans, obviously hadn't been serviced. I booked the place because they also serve dinner as it's isolated. But they said they had no space for me so I had to drive 10k on dark roads to eat. Not good 😐 😕 😞 😪
Friendly hostess. Nice room

RomaniaWe didn’t took breakfast everyday because we left early in the morning for the east side of the island so we don’t know how that mornings were but in the mornings that we took the breakfast there were no vegetables. Eggs only on some days and only boiled. No milk for cereals only yogurt. It was rich in pastry. Also, the breakfast starts at 8am and if you arrive at 8:30,9 there are big chances that the food to not be refilled ( happened to us more than once ) and you have to eat what is left ( in every case mostly pastry )
The garden is amazing and the location is near the main road that connect the south to the north

PortugalRoom decor is a bit outdated. Could be nice to have an update whilst keeping it’s identity.
Great location to explore the west coast of Sardinia. The room was big and confortable (we are a family of 4), facing a very nice garden. The staff is super friendly and breakfast is great with local produce. The property restaurant is very good and I recommend you have dinner there at least once. The room has air conditioning and there in a big parking space close to the rooms.

RomaniaWifi wasn't really working well and sometimes had a poor connection.
Really beautiful place that has a big garden and represents a typical sardinian atmosphere. Parking spot available. Really great breakfast with plenty to choose from. Friendly staff. There is also a possibility to have dinner at the restaurant and there are some really great sardinian food to choose from which are really delicious.

United KingdomThere is nothing to dislike. But there might be a problem with the light sleepers: there are sounds of frogs, grass hoppers, dogs, cats, birds, and 1 very laud neighbours peacock. It is a country side - you need to accept it. Somebody in the comments mentioned that a swiming pool is missing. I think it would ruin the vibe of the nature. Some people would be spending all the time by it, instead of exploring around. Sauna and jacuzzi after long day hiking or traveling would be nice to have though.
Nice area outside the small village, close to the bakery, groceries shop. Pizza places near by, fuel station. Outside garden is amazing and morning walks to have breakfast or speak with receptionist, through the garden and old unique buildings were very pleasant. Friendly staff, delicious traditional breakfast, with home made cakes, local honeys, meat and cheese. Our room was cleaned every day, soap top-upped, towels replaced when we needed. There were car park space whenever we came back, even they had a wedding with loads of guests.

Wonderful breakfast, great restaurant. Just about eerything artiginal is "home made" and delicious. I had given up on pistacio gelato until I tried the home-made pistacio gelato at Sa Mola.

Beautiful set-up, clean and well-kept open areas and garden, excellent food at breakfast and excellent dinner (this latter not included in the room rate but worth it, with excellent value for money). Good location to hub to some spectacular beach locations (Is arutas, Mari Ermi, S’Archittu) at 30 mins drive
