How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Our room was in the basement , I didn’t noticed it when I reserved the room, but everything besides that was great

In the bathroom when you shower I think it's a bit clogged as the water accumulates very fast and doesn't drain properly. Also I feel the host was excessively pushy with the messages for doing the checkin online, including calling me on my personal number on WhatsApp 2 days before our stay.
The house is very big. The bed and the couch are comfortable and there's a lot of space in the bathroom too. it was perfect for a stay of 2 people. whenever you go to the bathroom you can definitely hear the neighboring apartment but we had no problems throughout the night.

The only downsides to the stay were that we found hair on some of the towels, which was a bit off-putting, and the shower sprayed water everywhere, making it difficult to use comfortably.
The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with air conditioning that made a big difference during the warm days. It was convenient to have towels and soap provided, which added to the ease of the stay. Communication with the owner was smooth and straightforward, and accessing the room was simple. The location was also a major plus, very close to public transport, making it easy to get around the city.

Thin walls and loud neighbours. 🥲 Also the bed is not the most comfortable.
Clean space and excellent location - really easy to travel all around the city.

It would have been more convenient to have a second mirror outside the bathroom, as we were taking a while to get ready.
The bed was really comfortable. The room was equipped with anything we needed for our stay. Also the bus station was in front of the building.

There are no glasses, cutlery or a dining table. So having dinner besides fingerfood is practically impossible. The location is ok but a bit away from the center.
The staff was very nice and the appartment is clean, spacious and directly in front of a garden.

Our room was the bottom floor so not much natural light, but room lighting was still good!
The property was tidy, had all amenities needed and was in a good location. Easy to get to via the metro. Federico was very helpful and replied quickly to any questions we had :)

There was no heating, although it was quite cold outside, especially during the night.
We enjoyed our stay! We stayed for 6 days here and really liked the space. It was spacious enough for a couple, with bathroom in the room.

The assigned room was part of an apartment... We slept in the living room and the bed was a convertible couch. For one one was ok, but it became quite uncomfortable during our stay. The actual bedroom was closed and occupied by other people, and you could hear everything. The door wasn't so well isolated....
The room was cozy and convenient. The tiny kitchen was helpful.

The superior double room ( the one with double bed) really nice and confortabile. We had one night also in the room with the couch. It was ok also that, but not so good as the superior double.

Great location, easy check-in and fast wifi. Thank you to the host for making our stay enjoyable. The location was great, close to public transportation, grocery store (Lidl) and several restaurants and coffee shops. The wifi super fast for video calls and Netflix. The check-in / check-out process was super simple and easy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We recommend this place to anyone visiting the Milan area.

The fridge didn’t seem to get quite cold enough, which made it a bit hard to store some fresh food.
Self check-in was very convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and had a beautiful view. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room nice and cool. The blackout blinds were very effective—perfect for people who like to sleep in.
