Good location, close to San Marco's Square. Beautiful and very clean room with a view of the canal and the gondolas. The staff was very helfull and polite. Very close there is a gondola's service and a little market.

It was disappointing to go from an elegant lobby to a worn-seeming adjacent building for our room.

The location very near St. Mark's Square was ideal. The room was quite spacious, more like an apartment with a bedroom, sitting room and table with chairs. After days walking on stone and marble pavements, we appreciated the wooden floors and area rug. The breakfast room was sunny and elegant with an excellent buffet and friendly servers. Staff at the registration desk were knowledgeable and helpful.

AC doesn’t cool enough. Maybe needs an extra fan to help the ac. Pillows were flat as a pancake and hard like a biscotti😂. No shampoo/conditioner but convenient store is next door😊

Location is excellent. Everything is nearby. Walking distance to water taxi, gondolas, St. Mark’s square, restaurants, shopping etc. Staff were helpful and nice including cleaning lady and guy checking the fridge. Very clean. Breakfast was great. Can use water taxi from Marco Polo airport to St. Mark’s station then walk to the place but please light luggage although there are porters who are very nice too if needed.

The room (suite) looked charming, it was clean, quiet, comfortable and the location was great. Breakfast was also good. It would be nice if a coffee/tea machine was offered in the room and if the heating was lower or adjustable.

Our trip started on a bad note as our wallet was stolen while on the traghetto on arrival. So beware as pickpockets are everywhere. Hotel was comfortable, with the exception of the pillows. Breakfast was very good.

The room was small, temperature in the room was too hot and thermostat could not be adjusted. The window was also boarded and could not open to cool the room.

Great location to stay, staff were very friendly. Breakfast options were excellent with it's large selection to choose from.

The rooms are quite traditional.

Royal San Marco is in an excellent location only metres from San Marco Square. The breakfast room has lovely views onto a small canal and the breakfast was great.

The rooms are tired and look nothing like the rooms in the gallery online, so that was disappointing. The rooms need a refresh to add some glamour and comfort - they were very basic and not shiny and beautiful as expected. They were clean and had enough space. No tea and coffee facilities without asking for it.

Great location and wonderful breakfast! Bed and pillows good. The only disappointment was the room was too small. We only had a short stay, so we managed. But sure could have used a few more feet in each direction.

The hotel has excellent location near square San Marco, palace Ducales and other sightseeings in historical places of Venice. Our room was comfortable with good facilities. Personal was kind and helpful, but with birthday anybody don't wished.

Sink didn't drain, room v small with little storage but overall good.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff with good value for money breakfast. We had a small room, smaller than ideal with little storage space and a few issues like the sink not draining but overall very happy. Would recommend the hotel.
