There's no food options close by, not hotels fault and town doesn't do delivery.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, they have a taxi/shuttle service to move from and to town, breakfast was good an surroundings are gorgeous! All around there's nice details, and gorgeous views of the lake. We had a lovely time.

The staff at the hotel were amazing and super helpful. Nice pool, nice drinks, nice rooms and great breakfast. Walking from the hotel to the city center took around 15 minutes.

We travelled to Menaggio as part of our honeymoon and we couldn’t have picked a better accommodation! The view of the lake and mountains from our room was incredible, the hotel was quiet and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful (we encountered Sophia, Adina, Michele and Dimitri, all of whom were lovely). We would highly recommend this hotel to any couple for a relaxing getaway in a fantastic location! The hotel is quite high up and requires a lot of uphill walking so it is worth getting in contact with the hotel reception beforehand to arrange a pick up if you have a lot of baggage!

The hotel is perfect, and the staff is awesome, it would just be great that they have a small restaurant (not only just for breakfast). As the Hotel Royal is above Menaggio, there are no restaurants nearby, just a pizzeria they recommended at the hotel - we tried to go to on our first day, but unfortunately they were fully booked for dinner.

The small hotel is a perfect stay for couples - quiet neighborhood, awesome view of Lake Como, pretty pool you can chill by, and very important - a great breakfast! We also used the parking, just in front of the entrance of the hotel. The room was big with a pretty terrace, and they also have a bar working all day - so we enjoyed beer and cocktails which they bring you directly to the pool or your terrace. The staff was very helpful!

The rooms is a bit outdated, location might not be far from center, however getting back from the center climbing uphill is exhausting.

Location was a little out of town a regular shuttle would be ideal, we must admit that the hotel did offer their own in house taxi service once we complained .. at a cost though .. the TAXI SERVICE IN THE AREA IS WELL NON EXISTENT..

It's at the top of the hill its a 20 minutes uphill walk to get too but very much worth it!

Excellent hotel!! nice and clean rooms with a beatiful view to the lake. The best, very kind people (specially Mario) and the restaurant, delicious dinner with local cuisine. 15 minutes walking distance to Menaggio center and ferry station

Great value for money. Lovely food, lovely room with great views. The staff and Mr. Columbo are so kind and helpful. Lovely pool area and very nice atmosphere in the hotel.
