We arrived at the property approximately half an hour early and our contact on WhatsApp replied immediately to advise we had to wait until 1500 and to contact her if we needed anything. At 1500 we were able to enter the building but unable to access the apartment or the room. We called, we texted, we emailed. No response until 1616. I don’t think it’s too much to ask that someone be available at checkin time as that is when problems may occur. The issue is you lose reception once you enter the building so have to sign into their wifi in order to access the apartment and room. If you have physical limitations this is not the place for you as you have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs. Also the system can be confusing. We had to help another client during our stay as she couldn’t access the room either. Also I think if you’re staying more than a week they should provide you with enough toilet paper, towels etc. Also leave at least a little bit of dish washing soap so we can do the dishes.

The property is in a great location. You can walk to the train station and most of the main sites. The room is well setup with space to put you luggage and personal belongings. It was very nice to receive a bottle of wine as part of the welcome package. I would definitely recommend this for a short stay and if you don’t have physical limitations.

The bathroom was a great size and the room was perfect! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and didn’t want to leave! Location was perfect, slightly out of the way but only 2 minutes to the train station, and 10 minutes to get into the city. The vibes walking down the streets around the apartment is brilliant and food always smelt amazing.

It was small though and we struggled to fit in 2 large suitcases. It was up one flight of stairs with no lift. The self check in was difficult to navigate but once it worked out it made sense and was fine. The room each had individual locks via a long code which was annoying to type on every time especially when you had to go back in to the check in to get the code.

The room itself was clean and tidy and centrally located to the major train station and near the city centre.

The shower didn’t drain very well so the bathroom become lightly flooded at times. TV wasn’t working. We had to dispose of our own rubbish outside the property.

Cleaner was knocking on the door at 9am on the morning of check out. We had until 10. She opened the door while we were changing clothes. Bed mattress was very saggy with a huge dip in it.

Nice location. Near Station, which was great as we were travelling. Not long to walk to main sights and the brilliant Central Market and it's food hall. Some issues with getting on line for entry quickly sorted by Leonardo and it was a great system. Rebecca was in regular touch as well, ensuring everything was going well. We were also left a bottle of wine and some water, which was a nice touch.

The room was all we needed it to be with extra facilities that we didn't end up using (TV, sink, hob and pans, as well as more) The hosts (although not there in person) were very easily contactable over the phone and on Whatsapp and were so accommodating. They even supplied us with a bottle of wine and a personalised welcome message for us. The room was pretty and the bed extremely comfortable

The property itself was good. When I reached out to the owner it took a while to get a reply back. I think this is the only thing I would mention. Overall it was a nice stay.

I liked the app that you had the key on your phone at all times. The location was also very practical because it’s a 5min walk from the train station.

On the first night the shower flooded the bathroom and into the room. The host had someone come promptly the next morning to fix the shower and no issues from then.

[Donatella Room] Great place to stay for a short stay in Florence. Close to plenty of restaurants and shopping areas - also has a kitchenette to make small things in the room if you prefer.

The bathroom was a bit cramped - although the shower was amazing. The kettle plug could not reach the socket - small detail. You can hear the people walking above you and the walls are a bit thin, but nothing too distracting. It is far from the center of town. Expect to take a 25min walk to get to Ponte Vecchio. The closest bus station is a 7 minute walk (use apple maps, not google maps as the buses dont show up on google for some reason).

It is everything you need as a couple traveling through. Good place to sleep - the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet - not opening out onto a street that was very nice. It’s very accessible from the train station, which was a plus for us traveling by train!

I had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect, close to the train station, short walk to the main sights, and lovely eateries on your doorstep. Rebecca was an excellent hostess, very attentive and super helpful, responding immediately to any queries and she gave me excellent dining recommendations. Shower was great and the bed was super comfy. All in all, great value for money for the location and I would stay here again.

The accommodation is very comfortable, very clean, and the staff is very helpful. Excellent location. The shower is great, and there’s a small kitchen that’s perfect for those who like to prepare meals before heading out. The window faces the street, so there may be some noise at night.

The only drawback is that I was getting very biting mosquitoes at night. Because it was very hot in the flat, I turned the radiators down, but that still didn't help, so I opened the window a bit. That's probably why a lot of mosquitoes got in, but I didn't think there would be mosquitoes in March.

The flat met my expectations. Comfortable, very clean, owner very helpful. I had a bit of trouble checking in, but the owner solved the problem very quickly and then asked every day if everything was ok.
