Good place to sit for a day or two so you can explore Florence. Great hospitality and great host. We also let our luggages to the hotel for a couple of hours to explore the next day after checkout which we are really thankful.

Need to stay in contact with hotel as reception is not at ground level and building access is not generally open. Old building with no aircon, fans were okay for cooling the room but also adds to sound. Distance from train, majority of sights and shared facilities would be better suited to younger set looking for budget savings. Not really suitable for a solo travelling mature woman.

Location was away from crowds and manic street life, lots of small food and drink venues on the street and adjoining streets. Easy walking distance from Galleria dell Accademia which was my reason for selecting. Convenient lift to reach hotel level on second floor, key locks reassuring for security. Was able to work out the lay of the city very quickly from this venue. Immediately booked a self contained room closer to the train station for the next night, had already paid for room so used it to store my luggage while touring for the day, easy pick up and check out for new hotel later in the evening.

For a cheap, quick stay, there wasn’t much to complain about! It’s an older place, and that comes with its challenges but nothing was bad about our stay.

It was centrally located in the city, about a 13 minute walk from the train station too! Room was spacious. Hot water and an a/c unit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and very fast to communicate and respond to messages!

Building and facilities were old. Some of the outlets in the room didn’t work. No heater or AC (at least in April) so room was cold.

Location was very convenient. Walking distance from good restaurants, downtown and landmarkS.

The bathroom was located at the other end of the apartment, which was inconvenient. The room had no hooks or shelves at all, so we had to leave our clothes on the floor. The kitchenette was very dirty, with incomplete utensils – just two forks and one spoon, not even a knife. The microwave looked like it had never been cleaned. The place has potential, but it definitely needs more attention to cleanliness and basic amenities.

The location was very good and the room itself was spacious, with clean towels. There was hot water in the shower – definitely a plus.

We stayed for 1 night which was enough, given the price of course it was good but I wouldn’t recommend more than 1 night. The windows didn’t close properly, which meant cold air all through the night but mainly noise from the streets as if the windows were open. I think it’s the hardest pillow i’ve ever slept on in my life (no exaggeration), bed was also very squeaky and loud but that’s fine. I also tried to contact the property before we arrived regarding check in, first one when we booked and second time two days beforehand, didn’t get a response at all before calling the night before check in.

The staff were helpful in allowing us store our luggage before the official check in time. The place was clean enough, obviously nothing fancy but no real complaints about the cleanliness. Good location, not too long of a walk to anything in the city. Check in was smooth and in general everything was quite good.

It was cold, the bathroom was not very clean and far away from the room. Terrible sound isolation.

The room had a few "ugly details" such as the soccer team bedside lamp and the structure in general. You could hear easily any person speaking outside since it was directly facing the entrance.

The room was very large and super clean, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom too. The location is very nice, there is a really good bar right outside with local food. The staff was super kind and welcoming.

The shower in the bathroom was quite gross. There were many flies on the walls, and the shower drain was extremely clogged.

The shower and bathroom were a bit old. The hallway smelt a bit one of the days but did not linger into the room which was good.

Rooms77 was spacious, safe and clean. It was in a good location with easy walking distance (15-20min) to all tourist sites. Towels and soap were provided and the shower was spacious. There was aircon and a fan available and you could not hear the traffic at all. Good communication with the receptionist.

Noisy street below..two mornings of garbage trucks, motorbike and car traffic constant as well as roadworks. No double glazing so sounds like action right outside the window instead of 2 floors below at street level. BYO flyspray for mosquitoes as promised spray did not eventuate. Definitely not a place for the light sleeper.
