It was B & B . But , we had an early morning flight ( as do many guests , the owner told us ) . We asked for a take away breakfast , but got no response to our message . It would be great if you could offer this . A simple breakfast to take with us . It would make us use you again . As it stands , we paid for a breakfast we couldn’t have , as do many others 😊

Could hear voices from the street below when going to bed but died down after a while. Old locks on doors take some getting use to.

Location - easy to find from train station and central to restaurants and old part of city. Room was big, clean and decorated nicely. Very clear instructions on how to enter.

Very warm at night, there was a fan provided but it did little to keep us cool. It was also not possible to open the two windows in the room as there are so many mosquitos so we had to keep them shut to avoid any more coming in. Generally, the mosquito issue was quite prominent for us, with several mosquitos in our room at all times. I think there should be more done to protect against mosquitos in the room (I.e., provide mosquito repellent, citronella candles/plug ins or mesh screens on windows). I would definitely stay again because of cost and location, but would need more protection against mosquitos.

Location and price were fantastic and it was a very spacious room with a comfortable bed and clean linen. The apartment itself is very well decorated and is well kept. The bathroom is shared, but wasn’t an issue and only shared with one other room in the property. The kitchen is spacious and is a great facility with all equipment provided.

The keys for the bedroom and bathroom are a bit hard to handle, it takes some effort to find the right spot and twist, but you get used to this.

I didn't like the noises from outside. The aparment was at the second floor of the building ans at the first floor there was a club of something. I woke up at 1:30 am to the loud noises of the people hanging out at the bar. That was very disturbing and uncomfortable. The doors were a little bit old and you colud hear the next room's door close or open

I liked where the place was situated, very near to the city center. The owner was friendly amd explained where the apartment was, found it very easily. The beds were comfortable.

As the heating in the room doesn't work and the blankets are quite thin, I wouldn't recommend it for cold winter monthes.

The place is nice, very central. There're some little disadvantages, but definitely a nice place to stay for a convenient price.

The shower was very annoying, with the shower head holder not working well, so it falls every few seconds. The lamp in the shower is a bit low, so I bumped my head into it a few times. THERE WAS NO INTERNET! the wifi didn't work due to some problem, and the cellular signal inside the house is poor. that was a main flaw. The cleanliness was not so good, mainly visible in the dishes. we had to wash anything we used to begin with.

The location is amazing, in the center of the old town, very close to anything you wish to arrive inside. The kitchen was equipped well with basic things to cook for ourselves. The hot water was very good, with endless amount. The room was good, with a lot of space to put our staff. The instruction was easy, and the host very supportive and friendly.

Where do I begin. Well, I can't thank Linda and Simona enough for such a wonderful hospitality, an impeccable apartment in such a Central location. The rooms are elegant, bright, with a very relaxing and beautiful decorum, everything is very pristine, and the price is by far the best in town, especially now in peak season. The kitchen is super equipped, everything is provided and they are the most helpful, understanding and friendly hosts. I hugely recommend Corte Della Uova to anyone visiting Lucca, as for us the experience was for sure 10/10. Now, I know where to come back next year!!! Many thanks

The location was exactly in the middle of the city and the house was very clean and organized. We love the small details in the apartment, like the nice scent in all the house, the room decoration, the good conditions of the kitchen’s utensil and the clear signs for organizing the shared areas. It was very noisy at night, you could hear all the comings and goings of the other guests and from the street outside.

Beautifully decorated room with lots of antique details. Everything was clean and tidy and we also loved the decoration of the bathroom. Great central location for exploring Lucca.

The location was fantastic, however, it has to be said that almost everywhere in Lucca is a good location, if inside the historical walls. The most pleasant is that, despite being a house at least 500-year-old, the room, the kitchen and bathroom were very well and comfortably arranged, very clean, full equipped, and tastefully furnished.
