How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing - everything was great,
The host was incredibly attentive and always available for help and advice. The location of this room was the best; everything we wanted to see was a 30 minute walk maximum, but the Spanish Steps and Pantheon were only a few minutes away. The area is very upmarket and surrounded by wonderful shopping and great restaurants. The room was a good size with everything we needed. The bathroom looked like it was brand new. The whole place was immaculate. The air conditioning was brilliant, and helped us stay comfortable in the 30+ degree heat. The WiFi was good also.

What was a bit upsetting, but out of the property’s control, is the loud noises at night. I will not consider this a “problem” with the property, as everything was perfect with our accommodation, but rather a point for people who might consider this important for their stays.
We had a wonderful time. We rented this place because another one tried to scam us, but it was for the MUCH better overall! The personnel is lovely, very helpful, very kind. The location is central and the cleaning is thoroughly done. They provided very good facilities and support to fully accommodate our stay.

There is nothing we didn’t like.
The room is bright, clean and comfortable, and is in a wonderful, central location. The host was fabulous and very easy to deal with.

The location of the room was unbeatable- we were able to walk pretty much everywhere during our stay and there are countless amazing restaurants just a short stroll away. The room was clean and well-presented with everything we needed. The staff were really amazing though- starting with meeting us early so that we could drop our bags and enjoy our first day and finishing wish extremely helpful directions and advice for our return journey. I also appreciated the local tips including restaurant recommendations and things to see and do.

Rooms a bit small
Location Location Location The place is an apartment hotel without reception, the guest coordinator Edwardo is a charming person with a very high sense of service. He handled every question or request we had in the best way and always with a smile

The stuff is not located in the property 24/7. The towels are replaced once in 2 days. Very small elevator.
The location is amazing, the stuff is very kind. Earlier check-in is available. The rooms are clean and organised.

Pillows weren't great. Would have liked some milk and water at the room. (but it was a very tiny feedback compared to the overall experience which was perfect - didn't mention this to owner to give them a chance to rectify )
Very friendly and accomodating owner. Transfers to and from hotel (to airport) were arranged by the owner with least fuss and very reasonable prices.

Maybe the problem was my phone but the Wi-Fi was not working most of the time
The location and hospitality was amazing! The apartment is only 4 min walk from Spanish Steps. They’re so helpful and friendly with whole process. I will definitely stay here when I visit Rome another time.Thank you again for everything one more time.

That i had to leave 😊
Location was more than perfect! You have to choose this place especially for its owner and the staff that were incredably amazing!!! Always availble for any question, taking care just to make my stay the best as possible. It was january cold and i prefered to use less the air condition so the owner imidietly provide me an extra blanket, Richy the guy from housekeeping is absulotely fantastic, my room was always clean and he always ask if i need something, always with a smile and politness. The proportey has an elevator ( that actually works!! ) which is perfect if you have heavy suitcases, My room had a balcony which had amazing view of the city, Air condition works fantastic . you can make yourself coffee in the morning and enjoy the beatiful view of the city from the balcony before you start your day. A lot of restaurants around the place, PAM supermarket is just 4 minutes walk and they are open until late night.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rome. The location is absolutely perfect, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and very clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere after long days of sightseeing. Nothing to really dislike - other than some rooms have a small shower - our shower was a good size!

The shower was too small. We are on the larger side, but even for someone who isn’t, it’d be a squeeze getting in and out, as well as uncomfortable while in there. The mini fridge wasn’t working, but we didn’t report it in case we had to wait around for someone to attend
Location was fantastic and the bed was pretty comfortable. Water was nice and hot. Breakfast offer was a nice touch as well as the WhatsApp message detailing the best attractions
