How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Quite noisy as on a busy road but the windows were good and blocked some of the traffic noise so it was OK. The wall hair dryers did not work but there was one under the sink in one bathroom but did not use that one. A toaster would have been useful in the kitchen.
The location was excellent. Very spacious for our family with two teenage girls who could have separate rooms. We could have stayed in one apartment (rooms 3/4) for half the price but we would have had to share the bathroom and not have a full kitchen but it would be good to hvae had the option.

Wifi isnt working properly in order to organize your vacations (buying tickets online,find good restaurants,gps maps)
The location of the apartment was perfect,especially if you travel with little kids ,near the bus station and next the historical center,everything on foot. Simona was responding very quickly in our messages. The apartment is very comfortable,has everything (oil,salt,coffee) and one pot to cook.If you travel to Verona,stay in Verona Romeo's eyes!

This is not a hotel, but an Airbnb where you do not meet the staff. All is by text/ phone. The internet is terrible and practically null. It is not the password, but the type of internet they have. If you are traveling without data or international SIM this can be a problem because you can't get communicated. The staff was not very helpful with that. Actually, they request your ID to be sent, but you can't send it as no internet. Once you send it (from a restaurant WiFi) they do not respond and it does feel like they ignore you. Instructions to get in are sent just before you get there, and with a few photos which are heavy to download. Please simplify the instructions, the way they are given is lengthy and confusing. There's no cutlery or plates for the mini "kitchen" space. The coffee machine is broken. No cookers, just a microwave. The electricity went off for a night, it goes without saying the heating and all went off. The day after they only said, "you should have messaged, we could have told you how to fix it" without internet? Implicit information here - this might be something that happens regularly. In sum, the flat is really nice, but the staff and some facilities could be much better. Easy to improve them, if they wanted.
The bed was very comfy and the flat was nice and warm (when there's electricity). Great location to explore Verona by foot.

Many small (but expected) things missing, like, there is nowhere to hang the coats in the corridor, the same for towels in bathroom, no spoons, etc. Their wifi network was not available in the room - not an issue for us, but could be for someone )
Location is perfect to explore the Verona center

The place was very clean and organized, the rooms and the bathroom are large and comfortable. It is very close to everything (5 - 10 minutes of easy walking). Yhis place is really a catch

She was very understanding. I had a cancelled flight and got to Verona extremely late I was hysterical as I had my kids with me at 1am in a foreign city. She was on her way to get us in however someone entered the building so we could get in

The WiFi wasn’t amazing but we read that in the reviews
Loved the space, so pristine and beautiful. The bed was comfy, very spacious rooms. Even though the actual apartment wasn’t massive the high ceilings really opened the place up. Location was fab, 20 minute walk to the train and so close into the town!

Wifi is poor - there is a common entrance hall with a small router there. Please install wifi in each apartment. Entrance instructions are complicated. You get a code for a small box. Then you get keys to go in, then another set for apartment. However, if one of the group needs to go out for an errand, it is not possible to lock the front door from the inside.
Location is perfect. We arrived by car, parked in Arsenale parking, but there is car parking on the roads at a price. Two rooms, with children’s room not being simply a sofa bed! Clean. Elevator present.

The wifi does not work inside the whole flat, only near the entrance. It was in the description, but I did not notice. Other than that perfect!
The lady who gave us the keys was so friendly and nice. The location is exceptional, right in the center of the city, the rooms were very clean, smelling amazing and very comfortable with comfy beds and duvets. The kitchen is new and big, as well as the fridge, perfect for family. We wish we stayed longer!

All the written instructions of checking out is in italian. An english traslation would be helpful.
The Location....you can walk to any attactions in Verona. Also the host is very friendly and helpful.
