the position was good and it was very near the Vatican which I had booked and the Metro station was only a short walk away

Even though the check-in time was previously scheduled with the property, at our arrival the room hadn’t still be cleaned up from the previous guests. The lady who let us in was kind enough to let us leave our luggage’s but even after the cleaning the room was not perfectly clean (stains on the bed’s duvet and dust in some places). Overall the bed was comfortable enough.

The room is so close to St. Peter’s Basilica it is the ideal place to stay for everyone that wants to enjoy Vatican’s city beauties. Bus stop is 250 m away and Ottaviano metro stop is a 8 minutes walk so it’s close enough to city’s transportation.

The shared kitchen was like an oven!!

The staff were very kind and thoughtful. We were extremely glad for the aircon in the bedroom as it was a painfully hot week in Rome. The street was quiet at night and the next street over had a great selection of eateries. We were literally 5 minutes walk from the basilica of St Peter so just wandered up day and night whenever we felt like having an explore. It was great to have a functional fridge and Nespresso machine and easy-to-use microwave.

We had to wait on the street for 45 mins prior to check in, as the staff wasn’t there at the arranged time. It was also never mentioned prior to booking that there would be no staff at the property to check in. Bathroom was quite mouldy and the other people staying were quite loud at all hours of the evening

WARNING: The Owner is super unpolite! He gives wrong/disfunctional key for the front door and doesn´t reply on messages or phone-calls! It was just good luck that we didn´t sleep on the streets at night. Also: The walls are like papers. You hear every word from the other room!

you should have a coffee because of the kettle available in there. the shower area has no curtain, i think its only good for couple or partner.

Staff are very friendly, the room was excellent and very clean, very spacious and there's also a common area with kitchen appliances.

I echo all the other reviews. Unbeknown to us we were sharing the flat with other people which of course didn't help when they came back late at night feeling rowdy. The shower is in a weird position, no privacy. obviously the pictures on the ad were taken when it was newly installed, because the shower has mould and mildew. We were told by the booking we'd get a queen and double bed, we got the queen, but no double, instead it was a single sleeper couch. The bed was rock hard, felt like I was sleeping on a concrete slab, which doesn't help if you have a bad back. The key to the front door was faulty, didn't fit properly. The owner had to send out someone to help us and then wanted us to pay the help €15 which I refused to do. I am paying the owner for a good quality working room. if anything is wrong, he should fix it, that's what I paid for when I booked. The owner then said he'd take the money from my booking or booking.com, which I still need to investigate, because that's ridiculous. In the living room there is a camera which always makes you wonder where else could there be a camera. Do yourself a favor, don't stay here. Book somewhere else.

Location nothing to do with the pictures displayed. The apartment was not clean, furniture is old and shower is small; hardly any water comes out. Soap/shampoo is not there, take your own. It’s not said anywhere that this is a room in an apartment (with a private bathroom). Don’t reach late or you will be charged extra (I asked the property in advance and he never mentioned extra cost; some question was even left unanswered).

The landlord charged us FULL AMOUNT although we never stayed. We never stayed because he did not inform us that this is a SHARED APARTMENT. He does not pick Up the phone and when he did, he lied to us about the refund.

The host arrived 40mins late kept us waiting outside cold. We were not told that we need to share with another family in the same apartment, who came back after midnight every night with a screaming kid. The host said we needed to pay for the wifi every day. He let us to use it for free at the end but it was very bad speed. The third bed was made from a single folded couch on the spot and it didn’t fit my 6ft tall son.

The room was not clean enough!! Not a quite place since you can hear clearly what's going on in the next room as well as in the kitchen.. Consequently you wake up every day at the same time your "roommate" desides to wake up! I was not satisfied with the accommodation but only with the location!

The shower is at the center of the room and it is too difficult to protect privicy if you have a child and you share the Livingroom with another guest.

Cleaning, comfort and the location is good (if you want to stay close to Vatican). The building is safe and it is just besides the attraction street of Borgo

Wifi(extra 1 euro per day) not working at all, couldn't even download a simple picture. The door of the balcony doesn't close properly, we had to put something to keep it close. The comfort of the room is terrible, with the shower in front of the bed, you can't have a moment of privacy. Nothing except 2 toilet paper were offered, not even mini shampoo or shower gels. The hair dryer was not working, clearly had been fixed with some tape previously. We had to buy the coffe capsule to use the coffe machine. And last but not least the covers as all the room were dirty. We found stains of previous guests on the covers, even the one kept in the wardrobe. The owner on the day we arrived was not even possible to contact by phone.
