Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe room is right on the street with large doors that let in a lot of noise, and it’s next to a busy bar that spills out late into the night and closes at 2am. There was no warning about this, which was disappointing—earplugs would have been a helpful touch. Another heads up- the local street cleaning van comes through around 4am to add to the noise disturbance
Great location—very close to the metro and in a lively, vibrant neighborhood. The room was nicely decorated and felt welcoming.

NetherlandsYou need a creditcard to proceed with their pre-checkin and screening. The door of the unit opens right onto the street. Right next to the unit there is a meeting hub and restaurants, and you can hear people and loud sounds until 2:00AM. There is quite sone light coming through the window at night. Wednesday at 5AM you will hear the trashcollection in front of the door for 10 minutes. The accomodation sent well over 10 of the same welcome mails. We lacked options to put towels and items. Dusty and smudgy above head in bathroom. The batteries of the aircon were empty. The check-in website gives you a 4 digit code for a 3 digit lockbox. There is a peeping hole in the woodenboard you see on the picture. It looks at the entryway of next door's rentals.
The coffee machine with cups is nice.

United KingdomNot very clean, no coffee as stated when booking, could not sleep due to being directly outside a very busy bar that was open until early hours in the morning and the when finally got to sleep was woken up by garbage trucks directly outside the door from 4am clearing the bins, I would not recommend anyone staying there

ItalyPlease, don't call it a miniloft. It is a street level small room (a fondo, as they say in Tuscany, or a basso as they say in Naples, a garage, as they would say in the rest of Italy) with a Lilliputian bathroom (the shower is nearly as big as the rest of the bathroom). NO WINDOW in the room, a 30x30cm window in the bathroom, near the toilet, facing a wall and a humid courtyard. High ceiling, but I guess that two human beings would consume all the oxygen overnight. I was a solo traveller and I travelled for work, so I spent a very little time in room, I had already booked and paid for four nights, so I just adapted and at the end I just got away with it. I wished I had a kitchenette or something (a loft presumably has that) but there are only a (not exactly clean) coffee machine and a (not exactly clean) electric kettle. An empty minibar fridge (since the only sink is in the bathroom, I would expect at least a complimentary small bottle of water). The de-humidifier must be always on, as a survival measure, but it is a gentle, quite pleasent sound, such as a sea wave, but don't turn on the air conditioning/heater, because it sounds like and old FIAT "500" engine. I actuallly wish to thank here my friends who supported me over my stay and who described that sound :) Probably it is my fault, because I had to find a place to stay in a very short time and while I was involved in other problems, and since my stay is paid by my employer (hopefully, because the office sent me a wrong receipt) I didn't check the other comments. Anyway, even if my employer pays for me, the place is outrageously expensive.
The room is in the heart of the Rione Monti, which I know very well because every year for a month (more or less) I teach in the area. The square is very lively (for somebody very noisy, but I don't care, and during the week by midnight it becomes quiet). The staff answered promptl y to my messages (although the issues were resoved in a quite clumsy way). Overall they were nice and very kind, but not really helpful. There must be an efficient boiler near the bathroom, because the hot water in the shower is prompt, and you can turn it off and on without loosing in comfort, and so , I guess, you can saving energy

United KingdomMINI PRISON CAPOCCI! where do I begin? Do not expect a "flat" or an "apartment". It was a mini prison which | guess it was a car garage before. It is not safe because there is no entrance before the room. You will exactly open a door on the street and there is a bed in front of you. Do not expect a clean room. There were a used toilet paper on the bathroom floor and also hairs everywhere on the floor. Bedsheets were not new, it was dirty and it was stinky. So we immediately wrote to the owner and send him the bathroom floor's pictures. But you know what? He didn't believe us! He said "NO! THE ROOM IS CLEAN!" Hmm.. then I am asking the owner; why on earth we will lie? And in our vacation? On Christmas? In Rome? Do you think we have time to speak with you or send you the pictures of how dirty the room is and wait for you to come and fix, while we are on our first Christmas together with my fiancé in Rome? This was the beginning. He said he will send someone tomorrow to clean the room. So he actually made us sleep in a dirty room. But the first night's nightmare continued after the dirt problem.. As the room is like a car garage and a prison, you can guess there is no heater. But there is an air conditioner which is LOUD AS HELL and never heats the room. And guess what when we told the owner the air conditioner is loud and not working properly? He again said "NO! IT IS WORKING!" Hmm.. I am asking the owner again; why on earth we will lie? Do you think it is a fun to us? While we were expecting only good memories in Rome, we paid for a stay and from the first moment it was horrible! Plus, my fiancé has a disease called misophonia. Which means she cannot sleep with even a tiny little sound. But the air conditioner was LOUD AS HELL. So we turned it off and in our first night we FROZE in a DIRTY bed. Next day a cleaner came and she checked the air conditioner as well.
there are toilet papers. bravo

GreeceThe apartment itself it's not great nor terrible. It's a very small space, used to be a garage, with more than enough humidity and no windows. The A/C unit is working fine and there's netflix as well but the fridge is not working at all. Bathroom is small, as expected, and the soap is only enough for a day or two. They refused to provide more soap or towels for a 4 day stay. Also there is some mold in the bathroom door and the main door curtain as well!! As you can understand the room is not exactly clean but neither is dangerous. That curtain could be a lot darker in order to block the morning sun. The sunlight coming through the main door alongside with the noise are making resting somewhat difficult. Especially late hours that the piazza next to the house is full of people. Finally, the check in is a f@cking nightmare. Expect at least 30 emails saying the same things cause their system is broken. Maybe they are trying to double pay things by mistake and that's really bad. To sum up, if you are traveling for work that's a hard no, if you are traveling for sightseeing it's 50/50 and if you are traveling for partying it's the best you can find for a price like this. I wouldn't suggest this or call it a value for money.
Location is top. And that's the only very nice thing about this apartment.
