How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was fine, we left the car at the entrance and went to the center by bus, and back on foot, not scary but manageable, not scary. The room had clean sheets, a shower, the walls needed to be wiped from weird traces. We were fine.

We didn’t find the bed so comfortable because we had two single mattress with single bedsheets at the bottom part so mattress kept moving every time we move, also it would have been nice to have a small kettle especially in the winter months.

Noisy neighbors.
Nice,modern,clean. Close to the airport as well as the city (less than 20mins). Close to the grocery shop. Comfy beds.Perfect and spacious bathroom.

It's not a bad thing, but a recommendation: as a B&B a kettle and some tea/coffee in the room would have been great.
Location close to city centre by car, very helpful personal! You can park in the street in front of the building. Clean and new room.

Everything was great, but we would appreciate some tea and coffee making facilities.
There was a lot of great facilities, fresh towels every day, very nice host, air conditioning, close to the railway station, restaurant downstairs, check-in contactless.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Exceptional stay at Romano Apartments! I had a wonderful time here – the apartment was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Everything I needed was provided, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Giuseppina was a fantastic host – warm, helpful, and always available for any questions. I truly felt at home and would gladly return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay!

The only small downside was that there was occasionally an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. It might help to use some cleaning or drainage products to freshen it up a bit. However, this didn’t affect our overall experience. The place is still a great choice – clean, affordable, and in a fantastic location. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and give full praise to the host and the team!
The accommodation is in a great location – just a 20-minute walk from the city center. Everything you need is close by, and the streets are easy to navigate, so there’s no need to use the metro. Simply take a stroll and enjoy the beautiful sights of Bari. You can reach the seafront in about 35 minutes on foot, and the walk itself is truly enjoyable. Special thanks to the host for the warm welcome, and to the cleaner who was extremely kind and attentive – the place was spotless and ready upon arrival. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with easy access to all the main attractions!

NO breakfast, and no place within a mile to get a breakfast. Several mile walk to the old town. Located in a light-industrial area with absolutely NOTHING nearby. The room was TINY, just like a cheap hotel room. Huge hard pillows, so an uncomfortable night's sleep.
Negative on both--see the answer to what I didn't like. The ONLY positive I can think of is when we got there and there was no key in the lock box, the owner responded very quickly and came and let us in.

out of the lock, and a woman entered our room using her own key. The same situation happened again the next morning (this time, we locked the door from the inside overnight), and we could hear someone trying to open our door for several minutes. I do not recommend this place – very unprofessional.

The room is located directly above the restaurant, so expect a lot of noise until at least 1 a.m. The bed is extremely uncomfortable—it’s actually two mattresses pushed together, making it almost impossible to sleep properly. The room itself is very basic, with nothing beyond the essentials. Definitely not worth the stay if you’re looking for comfort and rest.

The bed was not very comfortable. We couldnt sleep well because of the noises. That is probably the only complaint we have. Everything else was very nice.
It was a very nice room with easy access. It had everything you needed!

The room is located close to big streets so you hear noises from the street. You are quite far from the city centre.
