We stayed for a night and it was just fine. The location is close to central station which is a plus. The room was in good condition and the sheets/towels were clean.

Room was rather Spartan. We were fortunate that another guest arrived at the same time as we did, because that had a key to the ground floor door and they shared the same block of rooms and kitchen. They had been there for some time it seemed. The worst was that when we left at 6:00 a.m. to catch a flight home I close the doors leaving the key in the room as directed making it impossible for me to return to grab my cell phone when I realized I had left it on the bed in a last minute exit. I contacted the host and he indicated that he had found the phone and several times said that he would send it to me . He never did after several contacts via this site. I left England almost two months after the Rome visit having given my address twice and promised to pay shipping and a reward and never got my phone.

Access to public transportation and shopping was good. Building was secure and relatively quiet.

The facilities are very old and not well maintained, the spaces are not very clean, and the room has a portable air conditioner that is old and noisy. It could be much better with a little bit of care.

The staff is inconvenient. They said I could enter the room and gave me the keys. However, they bothered me by coming into the room to clean while I was there.

It is near the station Roma Termini, it has some free snacks in the kitchen, and they provide towel, shampoo and wash gel.

The bathroom was dirty but moslty because it was shared with other people, I would recommend having a guide and cleaning products in the bathroom for people to clean it after using it, rugs on the floor were missing and it was hard to keep it clean. Cleaning products were present in the kitchen but people should be invited to use them to keep the common areas clean!

The room was cheap and clean! Perfect for sleeping after a long day! I would recommend for young couples looking for a cheap option just to have a place to sleep

We were told to go to reception on Via Cattaneo, but there was no one, so we went to the other location. In the meantime, person in charge arrived at first location and we managed to check in after more than an hour in total. We didn’t have bedsheets or blankets! Wish we could give higher rating…

We loved the location of this property, it was so close to lots of bus stops and transit options. The check in process was a bit strange but the host was attentive and accommodating. Shared bathrooms were clean. This hotel seems to have gotten a poor reputation based on other reviews but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Ok so where do I start. The location may be good but everything else is not. When we arrived at 8 pm, the host came out of a car outside the building which was very scary. I made a mistake of reserving 2 people instead of 4, so given that, I had to pay an additional 71 dollars per night per person. That was a bit high in addition to what I payed under booking.com. I tried to explain him I had booked a quadruple room. He said he did not have it available even though under booking.com I had selected it. He dismayed my complaint and he promised to move us to a larger room. Next day we found the housekeeper and explain her we were supposed to move as he didn’t even bother to show up. The room we were meant to moved in was not larger in any way possible. Worse than what we had, with a whole on the wall…literally! from where the large AC exhaust was supposed to be connected but covered with paper. The AC tower was taped and thrown on the side. We stayed in the crappy room we were given initially. Lightbulb hanging on the ceiling. Broken power connectors, window latches broken, walls dirty. They do NOT change bedsheets throughout your entire stay. 5 night, they never changed the sheets or towels. In the bathroom, power sockets plates left broken out by the sink. Sink faucet is oxidized, towels on the floor to absorb the water that comes out of the shower. Mold on all the edges, You must place the shower curtain inwards or the entire bathroom can flood to the hallway. Other guests also had extremely bad times. A fight broke right on the hallway between a guest and the manager. The guest was screaming out of frustration, couldn’t take it anymore and left the place immediately after only one day. Seriously. I can’t understand how booking.com can show this listing as it hurts anyone’s reputation. Host never contacted me to ask me how things were. If you can do not cross the door as the host will try to take sure you pay first before he leaves.
