Location- there is no bus after 5:30 to the hotel and its on hill so can’t walk

It was a pleasant stay, breakfast is sufficient. Dinner was perfect, a variety of excellent pizza, desserts and beverages. It is an excellent location for venturing to the villages surrounding lake Como or for hiking tours in the mountains. We enjoyed the vintage vibes of the room, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff is nice and helpful, the rooms are clean.

Very friendly hotel offering clean, basic accommodation. Excellent value for money. Very helpful & friendly staff. Menaggio is a pleasant half hour walk downhill, and there is a local bus back every hour.

Location is hard to get without a car, but not impossible. Rooms design is a little old fashioned, but it’s still convenient and cozy.

Definitely best value for the price. Rooms were really clean, host was very helpful and the views were great. Also, the restaurant food was tasty.

• Persistent smell of old and musty. This is especially felt in the wardrobe. • Sound insulation leaves much to be desired. You hear all your neighbour’s «secrets» through the wall. Hearing becomes especially acute towards late evening. Exactly late in the evening when you need privacy and silence, the acoustic is "working" at full capacity. • No internet in the room. Specifically, in this room there is no Internet and if you need to surf the Internet in the evening, you have to sit until late in the public area. Internet also does not work on the terrace overlooking the lake. Yes, this is written on the website in the description. I missed this detail. • In case you are leaving the hotel on Sunday, please keep this important point in mind. The bus does not run on Sundays (Bus C13 Plesio – Menaggio Traghetto ferry Station). For those who have a car, just skip this point.

• The breakfast is very decent and the coffee is great. • The pizza by Said is beyond praise! 😊 • The hotel business is always about the Personal and the People in general who run the hotel. And this is where I can definitely rate it five stars: Tina, Davide, Tanya, Said. These are those, not many, whom I had the honour to meet in person. Thank you for your help and kind attitude! • The fact that the terrace offers a magnificent view of Lake Como is what everyone writes about in the reviews.
