There were some young people being very loud in a nearby park overnight. Presumably this was a once off- we heard one of the staff say they were celebrating the end of the school term

We were shocked by how beautiful the view was from the hotel restaurant. And we were pleasantly surprised to realise we had the same spectacular view from our room. We were lulled to sleep at night by the sounds of a nearby waterfall.

The hotel is nicely situated and is very unique. It's a nice way to escape from crowds at lake Como. Be careful, though, if you are booking a double room. They have double rooms that they advertise on booking.com with large windows and balconies. They also have a couple of rooms under the roof which are old, not renovated, have tiny windows near the ceiling and look nothing like the pictures provided. Those rooms should be a different category on the website. I wouldn't make a booking if I knew what room I would get. Good that after a long negotiations they gave us a room that had a window and was a bit larger, but it still wasn't the same quality as the rooms they advertise.

There was some road noise from the main road, but luckily the road was closed overnight for repairs. Other rooms would have been less affected when the road is open

The blinders windows were broken and the room had bad sound isolation, you can hear everything from outside, the window you can see the road and there's a bit of noise during the day.

The hotel has a mountain cosy vibe and the senior guy working was very polite and the breakfast was very complete.

Breakfast could have been more varied, especially when you stay for so long As others have said, getting there was tricky, but once you get it, it's no big deal. And so worth it. Shower was a bit small, but that's been the case with almost all our lodging here in Italy (18 rooms so far).

Absolutely adorable cottage looking inn with a beautiful terrace overlooking gorgeous mountains. Surrounded by nature including that of nearby waterfall, this is the loveliest accommodation. Downstairs is reception, the dining area and kitchen and the rooms are upstairs.  We had room 5, 1st floor, a corner unit. It had a small balcony and views of the Mountains from our bed. While the room was small, it was big enough, with a desk, chair, plenty of hanging space, heat/ac and a clean, modern bathroom. Not much decoration, but clean and bright. We loved it there so extended our two day stay another two days.  Great location, too, only 20 or so minutes from Lecco. The same to Varenna, the most charming town on Lake Como. There's plenty of hiking, walks, etc.. The staff were friendly and helpful. Internet fast. And its a great value.
