It is in the steep bit of Riomaggiore so you better be prepared to walk steps. But that is Riomaggiore in a nutshell.

To have a semi affordable room in Riomaggiore in July was great. It is in an old cellar built into the mountain, but nice and dry. The Internet and reception in the room on phones are rubbish so your work cannot call you on your holiday (yay). It is really dark in there (a skylight by the door only) so we slept really well. Full kitchen.

Very small appatment, one of the bed was in the kitchen. The mattress of the double bed showed that it was pretty used

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the location within Riomaggiore. The staff was super nice and prepared the property well for us. The property is very fun to hang out at and has a lot of space.

Have nothing to complain about.

A spacious flat with separate bedrooms. God with fans in the rooms since there are no AC. Flaps for the windows gave a dark room to sleep in. Well equipped kitchen. Very good host and good instructions for check-in. Nice to be able to arrive whenever it suited us. Good speed on wifi.

Advertised as loft apartment with TV. However it was a cellar and no TV. Not allowed to adjust the temperature of air con system. Really noisy as an open bathroom vent opened out onto the square.. Needed earplugs to sleep.

Newly renovated cellar built round lovely old stone wall. Cool and fresh. Good location. No windows which was OK. Staff were helpful.

It was super clean and good location. The house has its own ventilation problem because there are no windows and the smell of food remains a little.

Nothing for us. It is a little quirky and may not suit people after a traditional style room but it reflects the original character of the town well.

We stayed in the loft room which is separate from the main apartment building. It is converted from an old wine cellar and partly carved into the rock face so it had a lot of character. It was very clean, the kitchen area and bathroom were new and it is tastefully designed. The beds were very comfortable, there was one high portal style window for natural light and air as well as air conditioning. The staff were very helpful and provided a lot of introduction background about the hotel and the town. We originally booked for one night but decided to stay one extra as it was well positioned and comfortable.

Unfortunately bathrooms had mould in them, property could be cleaner. We also were not allowed any noise in the day before 10pm, the 5 of us got asked to be quiet over meals multiple times. No wifi or ac however that was mentioned so although great location, there are a few things that would make us not rebook it.

There are no windows in this room, it is kind of like a little cave so it was tricky to dry bathers and very easy to oversleep.

It was a nice little apartment with everything we needed in one place. The kitchenette was super helpful for eating some meals at home. The staff were lovely and helpful with making reservations for dinner.

Due to its location, it was quite loud at night. The shower is only very small and the beds were not amazing. Otherwise it was awesome!

The apartment was quite old, and I booked it specifically because I was traveling with my child and wanted to cook for him. Unfortunately, the kitchenette wasn’t working, which made the stay inconvenient. It really wasn’t worth booking an apartment without a functional kitchenette.

Our room "loft" had terrible ventilation and smelled like sewage and mold the entire time. To try and mitigate this we left the front door open, which people obviously do because they installed a nice privacy screen knowing people will need to open the door to breathe at all. We also kept the bathroom door closed at all times but that wasn't helpful. The kitchen was renovated, but there is no supermarket, or really any market nearby so the kitchen was essentially useless except to store old pizza in the fridge. I think I got sick from breathing in the fumes here. Unfortunately I can't recommend.

The location was great, the staff giving us the keys was very friendly, the room had some nice renovations.

Unfortunately we did not like the stay. Firstly it was really loud all the night, you can hear very good what the neighbour is listening on the tv and the bathroom. On the description they say that there are two double beds, wronggggg in each doble room there are two single beds that are put together, to seem like a double bed, we slept very bad because of the pillows and the matresses. The bathroom and the cabin shower and the Wc were moldy and rusty. I definitely do not reccomend it to anybody. We don't need luxury but a little bit of comfort and and a clean pleace.

The only good point it is that it is central and the app. has a balcony.
