How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

If you want to be in the city center of Rome, it’s about 20-40 mins away depending on where you’d like to be. We wanted to be where we were so it was fine for us but you won’t be walking distance to the Colosseum
The property is really close to metro lines and bus lines. It’s walkable to the Vatican. The property is comfortable, clean, and has great amenities like a shared kitchen, shower, balcony, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker etc. the beds are comfortable and we slept 3 comfortable in our room. The staff and Valentina the host are amazing. So kind, helpful, and friendly. We had an incredible stay.

Extremely clean & cozy, gorgeous design, great location (close to bus stops specifically and a supermarket just across the street). The most joyful about helping staff I have ever encountered, very profesional, going above and beyond to make our staying experience as smooth as possible.

We loved all of it. Will stay again.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and quick to answer any questions. The property is very well situated, close to public transport and easy explore from there. The room has everything you need and is spacious. Some special touches with the coffee and extra amenities in the kitchen. Even had daily cleaning service of the property.

Just nothing to complain of!
Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end! From guiding us to the place, remote opening and support till we had to leave.. the apartments are equipped and decorated with emphasis on every little detail! They are very clean and comfortable. From the location you can easily get everywhere in Rome by public transportation. Thanks a lot Valentina, we will for sure come back!

We were so well looked after by the management team, I am very impressed. The room is spacious and airy, the bed very comfortable and the kitchenette really useful. The location is great, with a bus stop right outside, one stop away from the metro station. We will definitely stay here again.

The only criticism I had.was the location. It was about 2 km from the Vatican and whilst buses were frequent you definitely needed to catch them to get anywhere.
The rooms were of a very high standard including the bedding, the furniture etc. we had a small balcony. Entering the building, guesthouse and our room was very straightforward and communication with the hosts was excellent.

The owner/personel takes care of clients in a very friendly way, we did feel comfortably in the property. Its clean & fresh. The additional common kitchen with coffee, tea and caces makes the difference. You can even cook by yourself ( we did no use the possibility but for some it may be worth mentioning)

Overall, the property is clean and comfortable. Bus stop was 1 minute away and St. Peter’s Basilica was 20 mins away by foot. They made our bed everyday which was a bonus and we appreciated it so much knowing that we have a toddler. Thank you, Valentina!

None, everything was perfect.
The place was extremely clean and well maintained. Valentina and Valeria are extremely friendly and warm hosts who welcomed us. All instructions to access the apartment was clearly provided. At the room we had fresh water bottles and everything neatly arranged by the housekeeping perfectly. Also toothpaste and brush was provided which was quite surprising. There is a well equipped kitchen with complimentary cookies, chocolates etc. They clean the rooms every day and I was very surprised to see that they even arranged my messy night dresses neatly on my return to the apartment and fresh water bottles provided. Everything was perfect and so beautiful, easily the best property I booked! Kudos and all the best to Valentina and team! :)

Road traffic noise in the morning was a bit noisy, but I'm a Londoner, so used to that and didn't really bother me.
Excellent communication with the host. Clean smart room. Excellent facilities. The little kitchenette with complimentary coffee and homemade biscuits was a welcome touch. The host was always helpful when we had queries regarding local transport etc. The location is brilliant for the Vatican. In fact, we walked there and back. We took the bus or metro to the city center on other days, which is easy and straightforward. We found a great restaurant not far from the apartment, called Boris. I would highly recommend this if you arrive and are in need of a meal, delicious and authentic.

There was noise from other apartments and road traffic, but it settled at night time. The hosts provided ear plugs but we did not need them to sleep.
Very nice and clean rooms, with all the functionality we needed. The host provided lots of information about the area and was very responsive to questions we had. The rooms were cleaned by a cleaner while we were out as well.
